Something I do want to mention. In years past, scuttlebutt was always welcome. Someone would come on, post their rumor and it would either be discussed or laid to rest as untrue. That is how I like this forum to run. Just like you are talking with your shipmates about the latest rumors, it's just discussed. Lately on this forum, when someone brings some scuttlebutt, another member will act like you are not supposed to post scuttlebutt by either putting them down or Pming them or whatever. T

It is Tuesday morning.  No updates here, but my CMC has been on vacation for the last three weeks.  I will flag him down once he gets in.  He always knows something....

First post after ghosting for years.  Hope you like my Display name.  8th time a charm.  It says in the guidance that the pinning shall be on the 16th but authorized sooner for Friday.  The pinning is scheduled based off 6 weeks from Navadmin release.  Soooooooo Triad 3rd if not 4th. Navadmin 5th if not 6th.

It's all pretty strange.  I was told yesterday that our CMC is stopping by today to "see what you guys do up here."  I've worked in the same building for 4 years.  This is the first I've heard of him ever doing that.

Lol, we just had someone from China try to join up. He/she put their rank as General. I think they want some intel on the release date too.

That reminds me of the guy who wanted to talk to me "as in Google." He was from the Middle East, can't remember what country. Every sentence included "as in Google" or very similar phrases. His English was very limited but apparently he knew ""as in Google." After letting him go on for some time (because it was entertaining,) I blocked him from viewing the forum.

I never found out why he wanted to talk to me "as in Google."

      For the billet based advancement, does that include SELRES? or is that for AC/TAR? And will SELRES still recieve quotas for Cycle 115?

The Professional Development Training Course (PDTC), conducted the following three days, will focus on building Spiritual Readiness through Competency. Participants will develop the skills necessary to intentionally, systematically, and helpfully increase the competency of our RMTs. Participants will also build sustainable connections with one another in support of our mission to increase the Spiritual Readiness of our warfighters and their families. This training is organized around the necessity of character, competence, and connection for the delivery of Religious Ministry in the sea services. 4. The FY25 PDTC objectives are to train chaplains and RPs to be able to: a.Comprehend the requirement to develop competent Religious Ministry Teams who inspire spiritual readiness. b.Identify the PNC standards that develop competent RMTs. c.Apply systematic practices to engage RMTs and those we serve with PNC standards that develop competent RMTs. d.Apply systematic practices to engage RMTs and those we serve with PNC behaviors that develop competent RMTs. e.Apply PNC standards to plan for supervision. f.Apply PNC leadership best practices to build connections within RMTs and with others. g.Utilize the PNC Competency Manual throughout the PDTC to create a comprehensive leadership development plan for RMTs. h.Utilize lessons learned throughout the PDTC to create a comprehensive leadership development plan for RMTs. 5. Dates and Locations. Chaplains and RPs are required to attend all four days of training and must register for both the PDTW (CIN: A-5G-0005) (CDP: 19MG) and the PDTC (CIN: P-5G-1303) (CDP: 19MF) through the enterprise Naval Training Reservation System (eNTRS) via self-registration or the Service member's command training officer. Training dates and locations are accessible via the Catalogue of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC). Prospective students must submit a current email address during registration or the request will be returned.
