Wonderful, just wonderful.  So the board convening dates are going to have to be changed, LTB submissions are going to be changed, and the selection board results will most likely be released sometime in the later part of Q4.  Why couldn't they have released the SBEs along with active duty.  What gives.  I cannot drill, I will not be able to attend the Reserve Career Info course, and my flex drill with my cross-assigned unit is up in the air.  Just super, super frustrated with all of this coronavirus hysteria.

This is making out to be a super weird year across the Navy. PRT cancelled for this cycle. Hair standards relaxed for now. Advancement boards postponed.

it will be interesting to see how all this shakes out and where everything lands. Still gonna print out my field code 30-38 from my OMPF and verify nothing is missing and start preparing my LTB. It is still going to need to be sent at some point!

Has anyone really done that? I'm thinking it's like doing a letter that says sorry I'm not EOOW qualified because I'm not on a ship. Thoughts?

Are there any MM SW's in here?

Anyone mind sharing their LTB's that assisted in selection?

I am an MM on a gator

From what I read in the navadmin, the LTBs are still due on the 29th of May.

I’m going with a more aggressive approach this year. Before it was only a few designation letters and awards or what not that were received after November. This year I’m highlighting everything. I took the board membership from the past two years and contacted as many of the Master Chiefs that sat the board both in rate and out as possible that we’re in the area. The general consensus of 90% of them was that long are gone the days of just submitting what is missing from your record. One put it like this, “it’s late and everyone wants to go home. Your record is the last to get looked at after days/weeks of looking. Everyone is tired and ready to go. Are you going to leave that to chance hoping they find it in your record?” There we’re still those who did not agree with this. No negatives were giving on a member who did. Just that they would find it if it’s in your record and that there is only so much time to brief. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different outcome. So I’m changing it up. Not submitting my entire service record though lol.

I'll probably end up with 7-10. No career summary sheet this time.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up but are exam scores looked at by the board? I've heard some things

I’m sending in about 13. From what I understand and I have never heard that they do that.

I was one of those "submit everything".  It works, I was selected.  Bottom line is, if it is important to you and you want the board to see it..............then make it an enclosure!!

Looking at possibly 4. A designation letter, 2 FLOCs and an award if I get it in time.

Are there any logistics specialists in the group that are willing to screen my LTB? I appreciate the time and help and any guidance provided.

Just curious on everyone's thoughts! How late do you think results will be this year or do you think they will 'crunch' it all in, to keep things on track?
