Hey y’all so I’ve received some notes that are def good for all E6 and up to be aware of. Notes from a MCPO that sat the 8/9 board this year   Bottom line is that our boards are now very similar to statutory boards and the way that 95% of the Chiefs and below think happens at the boards are not accurate. Yes! All of them lol. Seniority which leads to pay order.

Agree. I thought the same (seniority) but have recently had people try to say it is ranking order based on who scored highest exam & board ranking.

It is based on seniority and establishes the order for advancement and pay.

Based on seniority in pay grade. Whoever has been a first class longest gets paid first as a chief.

I was number 5 out of 76  and got paid the month after pinning. I had almost 20 years at that time so not much wiggle room for senior but I never thought I would get selected either 😂

I’m sitting at 19 years now so if I do get selected then I would probably be at the top for getting paid. I feel the same way you do, it’s been a long road and hopefully I will get selected this time.

The seniority is base off TIR, not time in the  Navy.

I made first back in 2013, we will see how the seniority stacks up if I get the ‘S’.

And my command has been silent on the result rumor mill. But I trust these FORCM rumors.

We gotta make sure all the stretcher bearers and emergency medical stations are manned for Wednesday if the results come out then.

      Navy sailor arrested, charged with hitting trooper and fleeing scene in Virginia Beach

      VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A man has been arrested on a charge of striking a state trooper and fleeing the scene on Wednesday. Jayden Markel Wallace, 23, of Virginia Beach, was taken into custody after an investigation that involved information from the public, as well as Virginia Beach Police Department and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, according to a Virginia State Police spokeswoman.
