I'm just passing the word as I was told that it had to do with the MC board and FTS/Selres results. I don't want to believe it either.

Well I've already emailed all the E-6 and below and told them to start calling me Chief immediately.  This weekend I'll probably install the custom 4x6 anchor decals to my car, and get my 12th anchor tattoo.  I get one every year I make board, and I'm running out of body, so this one will probably be a face tattoo.

The rest of the time will be spent working on my Chief skills...coffee balancing, knife-handing, general curmudgeon-ing, and saltiness.

Been following the forum for some time now and finally decided to sign up.  Chatting with my old CMC he's saying results will be out the 4th. Makes sense if phase II is 6 weeks, we'll get that first weekend to get our affairs in order and then 6 weeks will take us to the 16th.  Our CO is planning an all hands conference that day as well, coincidence? <_<

I blame Tony for the results not being released yet.  Everyone knows that the results don't come out until this topic hits 100 pages, but SOMEBODY keeps deleting all the posts that violate the rules!

I think the TRIAD finds out on 02AUG and NAVADMIN released on 04AUG.  We need to start a betting on proposed dates see who wins.

When I met Master Chief Mitchell at the Pentagon (thanks to YN1 Hyde!) I tried to steal one of his anchors by calling "dibs."  Apparently that's not how promotions work.

      The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs has signed up more than 280,000 new veterans and completed roughly 900,000 new toxic exposure claims under the expansion of the PACT Act, a Biden administration move that sped up the implementation of a 2023 law aimed at securing benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits overseas. Veterans who had exposure to some toxic substances during their military service, whether they deployed or not, became eligible for VA health coverage under the legislation as of March 5. Former service members who served as far back as the Vietnam War can have their health care costs covered for a long list of possible illnesses considered service connected, including those from exposures during domestic training or assignment.

The AC ADHRB eligibility criterion includes selection for Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) and the FY24 ADHRB is intended for officers selected for promotion to LCDR in the FY24 LCDR statutory board. These officers will be considered for department head in the FY25 Aviation Department Head Screen Board (ADHSB) scheduled to convene in the spring of 2024. Additionally, eligible officers must have an Active Duty Service Obligation (ADSO) associated with undergraduate flight training ending in FY20 or later. Please consult the program information for a full listing of eligibility criteria. The application opportunity commences with the release of this NAVADMIN and closes on 31 August 2024. c. Contracts are offered with either a three, five or seven-year obligation that begins upon expiration of the officers winging ADSO or contract approval, whichever is later. Those communities experiencing the greatest retention challenges are incentivized with the highest rates.
