  1. Most recent update: Today - Bupers Online TRIAD Notification, anticipated 1300 CDT/ 1400 EST. Tomorrow - NAVADMIN Release, anticipated 1300 CDT/ 1400 EST.
  2. Happy for you AME1 I’ve been tracking you in this site for a while enjoy your season and keep you ears open and a positive attitude
  3. There are certain terms and phrases used on evaluations that if you see you should question and immediately request a CMC CDB. Anything that alludes to the future will be looked at as if you are not ready now. These are the leadership that works directly with you and the board has to take their word seriously. Every word in your eval should be engrained in the now or past Meaning you are already a “Chief” just not in uniform. If you are briefed a questionable phrase or wording sign your eval and request an immediate CDB with the CMC included to see why that wording was chosen and if it can be changed before they are sent up. I run run in to a lot of Sailors you are “checking” all of the blocks and are confused on why they are not selected and when I see the evals I can clearly see: Will one day make a great Chief Chief in training My future front runner Any phrase that is not in the now is potentially negative.
  4. Lol I’ve been throwing my two cents in here and there. It was a very quiet year leading up to today compared to last year. I’m sure we’ll start seeing the names dropped here soon.
  5. I took the non scenic route to Chief. I’m a LS no ranked EPs ever in my 10yr career, no SOQ/SOY ever, no degrees and no MOVSM. Being involved and evals above RSCA are more important than the EP, MP, P IMO. Some Sailors have nothing but EPs but the write up is not in line with said EP. I can not stress to you how much you are doing for junior Sailors and the command will out weigh everything else.
  6. I was unaware that you weren't eligible until your last year I thought the trade off of the steady duty station was you were never eligible for Chief learn something new everyday.
  7. I haven’t seen it added. It’s your package though if you find it important or needing then add it. Those a junior enlisted courses so I would think they wouldn’t add much weight. I wouldn’t add it but at the end of the day it’s up to you.
  8. Haven’t been on in a few but I am def open to reviewing records and jus mentoring I took the non scenic route to Chief. I’m a LS no ranked EPs ever in my 10yr career, no SOQ/SOY, no degrees and no MOVSM. I can not stress to you how much you are doing for others and the command will out weigh everything else.
