I am "N" for 6235, a designator they haven't made in the reserves in a few years.  Anybody has advice for next year's Reserve LDO board?

I am a prior active duty submarine ETN, now a reservist who got ESWS, also Steam and Diesel EOOW letters.  On the civilian side I am a licensed Chief Engineer and deployed underway on MSC naval vessels.  Cross assigned and always deployed for my Navy civilian job I haven't gotten a Reserve Unit LPO position, although on ADSW and MOB I've been ALPO and LPO.

Any advice helps.

They made 3 6235s this year and they may make more next year.  Keep trying.

Generally speaking LPO and Career Counselor are important positions for making LDO or CPO.  Your evals need to show sustained superior performance ie EPs.
