There is a particular office that releases them (I have corresponded with that office) and she is not in their direct chain. CNP of course is. She does not set the release date. She may have been speaking generally concerning the Navy's police of not releasing them n a Friday.

It's supposed to be 24 hr after triad release so basically their saying "Ok CO, we are giving you 24 hrs to do your thing." I believe for reserves it was more than 24 hrs though. Some hiccups I assume.
