lol There was a debate for the longest on this forum on why have a "no Friday" release when in fact these are adults going up for Chief. I believe most did not like the Friday No Release. Then there was/are a few who thought it was not even proper to mention drinks in a celebratory setting - especially on this forum. One even PMed me his disapproval when I told a someone who got an S that I'd buy him a beer.

I'm pretty sure the no Friday release was originally created because of incidents of DUI over the weekend for celebrants

Welcome and thanks for the post! Now is a good time to have others join and stop lurking too. I think in order to get Friday, Triad needs to be notified today. Also most stats are for pre-TRIAD method of release; don't know if the stats will shift though.

You are in equal standing with others who have applications for security clearances submitted to the Office of Personnel Management. Any of your shipmates who was required to submit a clearance is in the same boat - even if they are no longer serving, their information was compromised. This breach is humongous. With that said, if there is an issue with your clearance, everyone else with a clearance would be affected the same way regardless if it is a re-issue or not. Also, this is not something at the command level to fix, it's way higher.
