When an exam is not used during the normally scheduled event, do not destroy the exam prior to 1 April 2015. Submit a request with justification via e-mail to sfly_n321_exam_order (at)navy.mil for permission to retain exams for administration on the next drill weekend in March. Ensure reason for requested delay is included. f. ESOs must verify the exam order at the "View Previous Exam Orders" link via NEAS within 14 days of placing the order. 5. Exam Administration and Answer Sheet Returns. a. Refer to the exam verbatim at https://www.nko.navy.mil/group /navy- advancement-center for exam administration and answer sheet return instructions. b. ESOs must check the exam tote board on the NEAS website https://neasos.cnet.navy.mil/neas/public/toteboard.aspx often to ensure answer sheets have been received and processed. c. Late exams should be kept to a minimum as they are for candidates who, through no fault of their own, are unable to take the exam at the regularly scheduled time. NETPDTC (N321) is the approving authority for all late exams. d. The deadline to administer regular exams is 31 March 2015. E7 Candidates share equal responsibility with their parent commands in ensuring their name appears on the selection board eligibility list. After exhausting local resources, if the candidate's name still does not appear on the eligibility list, contact PERS-802 prior to board convening. CHARLESTOWN, Mass. (NNS) -- USS Constitution worked with Google Maps to record a virtual tour of 'Old Ironsides' this morning aboard the ship. Google Maps photographed the ship to create a virtual 360-degree experience of Constitution in preparation for the ship's scheduled dry-dock period in March 2015. "People around the country and across the world will have the opportunity to experience Constitution online," said Cmdr. Sean Kearns, Constitution's 73rd commanding officer, "This capability will be especially important while most areas of the ship are inaccessible during her restoration." The 216-year-old warship will be added to the list of historical landmarks that Google Maps has available for online tours. Among the list are the Taj Mahal, The Louvre Museum, underwater reefs, and regular street views from around the world. To date, Google Maps has been able to cover 57 different countries. The Constitution, however, is considered a "street view special collect," said Curt Fennell, a Google Maps Systems Administrator, and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. "We like to have as much information as possible, it's our mission. The USS Constitution is a national treasure. Since she will be unavailable for a few years, we want to make her available for viewers from all over," Fennell said. 'Old Ironsides' will be moving to dry-dock in 2015, and the restoration is scheduled to last three years. The virtual tour will help Constitution and history enthusiasts view and experience the ship as she presently looks at her berth in Charlestown Navy Yard before preparations begin to de-rig and offload the ship in the upcoming months. USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat, actively defended sea lanes against global threats from 1797 to 1855. Now a featured destination on Boston's Freedom Trail, Constitution and her crew of U.S. Navy Sailors offer community outreach and education about the ship's history and the importance of naval seapower to more than 500,000 visitors each year. Congratulations to those who got the coveted “S”. I think I saw that SOY13 got it on his last try so this is something worth pursuing until the end. Please remember your troops when you join the Chief’s Mess. Again congratulations; this is really a life changing event. I saw those who posted the “N” and more so at least two I think who said that was their last try. My heart goes out to you but want to remind you that preparation for the civilian world starts today (It’s a good thing, trust me).
