Since the All Hands ceremony did not happen at my command and results are not out, I'm going with Tuesday next week. However, If it's with the Legal dept, it will probably take a little longer. Our Legal motto, "there are no legal emergencies." This applies to all legal correspondence. We dont want any mistakes or 'do overs'. Its worth the wait, once they finalize the selection results. Good luck everyone!

It’s crazy how even though I know it’s coming out next week I still check my phone first thing in the morning. I check for missed calls, messages, and then the forum.

From what is in the forum the board adjourned early. In typical cycles, assuming the board adjourns on time, the “legal scrub” and all is still done with time for results to be released the first week of the month (with exceptions). Rhetorical question, but what’s the hold up?!? 

 

(I don’t expect actual answers. Just thinking aloud).

What is a little confusing for me is that the board finished a week early, were personnel to do the post board scrub and legal review not available the week early?

For some odd reason, the Navy never seems to adapt to schedule changes very well.  It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they just let the extra week go by and started as originally planned.  So stupid, really.

So if you are in between commands in school, how does that work? I assume the command where you took the exam will get your name to the triad? Also I guess the season will happen after class every day at the training command? Rip my leave before moving to japan if I make it...Time to schedule in my packouts and selling both vehicles somehow.

Well said. I am usually the one that cheers him up and tries to lift his spirits after each disappointment, but I cant say that it doesn't affect me too. I think it's natural to share the feeling when the person you love feels defeated.

When the results come out on the 8th, it's still technically a 6 week season, minus  Monday and Tuesday (6th and 7th)...
