  1. The revelations of Epstein’s ties to the deputy secretary’s former business follow the Justice Department’s release of 3.5 million files in the Epstein case, as required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The government’s production of documents has faced criticism for redactions that shield the identities of people who may have aided Epstein in his sex trafficking operation, while failing to protect the identities of survivors.

  2. WASHINGTON — Veterans who were homeless or had a recent diagnosis of traumatic brain injury had sharply higher rates of suicide in 2023 than the rest of the veteran population, according to an annual report published Thursday by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

  3. Now we know why tRump is so eager to remove DEI from the government. Now he is lying and blaming it on a staffer...

“The Presidents post is wrong and incredibly offensive — whether intentional or a mistake — and should be deleted immediately with an apology offered,” said Lawler, who faces a tough reelection race this year and whose district was recently shifted from “lean Republican” to “toss up” by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report.

  4. New video from a US military drone has captured what UFO investigators are calling a formation of mysterious orbs flying over one of the most contentious regions in the world.

Jeremy Corbell, investigative journalist, documentary filmmaker, and co-host of the WEAPONIZED Podcast, revealed footage this week allegedly obtained from intelligence sources that captured three objects flying over the Persian Gulf on August 23, 2012.

  5. "People are scared," said Weinstein, a former Air Force officer and attorney who said his group is made up of nearly 100,000 current and former members of the U.S. military and represents those who feel pressured or coerced into unconstitutional religious observances. "They were pressured to see the movie."

"Your military superior, that's not your shift manager at Taco Bell or Starbucks. They have complete and total control over you."

  6. CFL/ACFLs,

    • Updated PRP FAQ (FEB 2026).
    • CNIC CFL Course Email Address Updated.  All CFL Course package submissions must now be submitted to usn.ncr.cnicwashingtondc.mbx.cfl-training@us.navy.mil.
    • Missing Birthdates Issue Affecting PRIMS Records.  A data feed error from the Authoritative Data Environment is causing missing birthdates to be fed into PRIMS for some Sailors, resulting in incorrect PRT score calculations.  Developers have programmed affected PRIMS records to default to "Outstanding-High" until the issue is resolved to avoid unfairly penalizing those affected.  In this scenario, CFL/ACFLs should use the PFA Calculator in the Official Navy PFA app to assess PRT results and the potential need for further PRP actions.  Once resolved, affected PRIMS records will be automatically updated to reflect accurate PRT scores.
    • PFA Calculator Issue in MyNavy Portal (MNP). We are aware of an issue with Waist-to-Height Ratio (WHtR) rounding that may cause an inaccurate BCA result.  Developers are working to resolve the issue.  Sailors can still use the official Navy PFA app for accurate calculations.  Only PFA results entered into PRIMS are official.
    • Navy’s Noom Digital Health Program.  From 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027, Navy is offering access to the Noom commercial program for a one-year period, at no cost to Active Component (AC) and Reserve Component (RC) Sailors who:
    • Did not meet Navy standards for the BCA and/or PRT during Cycle 1-2025 PFA
    • Were in a "Pregnancy" non-participation status (e.g. pregnant or post-pregnancy/postpartum) during Cycle 1-2025 PFA
  7. FALLS CHURCH, Va.   –  If you get care at a military hospital or clinic, the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal is your main tool for managing your care online. You can use it to send secure messages, check test results, review appointments, and more. Unfortunately, scammers can create fake websites that look like official MHS GENESIS pages. These sites try to trick you into sharing personal or health information.

  8. Kelly, a retired Navy captain and former astronaut, is seeking an injunction against the Pentagon for threatening to demote him in rank and reduce his military retirement benefits because of a video he made with other Democratic members of Congress who had served in the military or national security that urged troops not to comply with illegal orders.

In a closed-courtroom hearing, Judge Richard J. Leon, who was nominated to the D.C. District Court by President George W. Bush, pressed the Trump administration's legal team on whether the government had the power to take such action.

  9. WASHINGTON – Lawyers for Senator Mark Kelly will ask a federal judge, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, to block the Pentagon's proceedings to demote his retired Navy captain rank because he urged troops to reject unlawful orders.

The court hearing, set for 4 p.m. Eastern in Washington, is another test of President Donald Trump's historic campaign of vengeance against his perceived political enemies, which has drawn pushback from judges across the ideological spectrum.

  10. The Pentagon’s Northern Command over the weekend stood down more than 1,500 federal troops placed on alert for potential deployment to Minneapolis, according to two U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the situation.

ABC News first reported that roughly 1,500 active duty soldiers from the 11th Airborne Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska had been ordered to prepare for a possible mission to the Twin Cities in Minnesota.

  11. More than a week after federal immigration agents killed a Veterans Affairs nurse in Minneapolis, a staffer at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center says patients visiting the hospital have asked why there is nearly no sign that Alex Pretti worked there.

“I’ve had veterans a little surprised there was not something at the front entrance acknowledging Alex,” said a VA staffer at the hospital. “I understand the reasons local leadership feels they cannot respond, and it stings.”

  12. They are remembered as “the lionesses.”

In June 2005, three female Marines died in combat in Fallujah, Iraq, even though women couldn’t yet serve in combat roles. So did three men in their convoy, when a grisly suicide bombing by Iraqi militants sent 13 other Marines, 11 of them women, to hospitals and left some with lifelong injuries. The tragedy underscored a poorly hidden truth: Women were already serving on the dangerous front lines of US wars, and the military’s policy of segregating them from men, and denying them weapons and sometimes equal armor, put men and women alike at risk.
