In all seriousness... I'm wondering why some commands are passing this information down and others are not.

Yeah because my command hasn't said anything but I did read from another site that this is VALID

So is anyone else having those thoughts of what if I make it and what if I don't make it?

When I saw the timeline it made it real. Although the board has been adjourned for almost two weeks and my fate has already been determined.

Now, it's Real, now I'll know if i made it or not!

Plus I'm an instructor and I teach this week. So I'm like now I have to be in front of my class if I don't hear good news.

But at 1100 the class will be on lunch break for an hour and if I do get "bad" news than at least I'll have time to pull it together before getting back in front of them.

That's very true but the bad thing is that they are probably all gonna know that the results are out by then and they are gonna be wanting to ask you when they come back from lunch if you made it or not.

Will our BOL update Thursday morning prior to 11:00? Is 5ish or 6ish am Thursday morning expecting too much for BOL to be updated?

It's usually the next day after Triad is notified, so Friday our BOL should be updated.

If I am not mistaken, you will not see anything in BOL until friday.

Is it bad, that Im hoping I get the coveted "S" so I can transfer back to Sea Duty?  Been on shore duty less then a year, and already ready to go back to sea.

I have a lot of the junior Sailors say this, as CCC I try to explain the importance of shoreduty.  It's about recharging the battery, family and self improvement.  I know that stuff on shore can be trifling but sometimes we need to thing long term.

As posted by CTRC(IW/SW/AW)
Results will be to the Triad on Thursday 03 August 2017 for Active and FTS/SELRES at 1100 with the NAVADMIN coming at 0800 on Friday the 4th. That's official.

Well the quotas are there, and I was asked if I thought I was better than a large portion of my community.  My response: doesn't matter if I think I am, what matters is does the board think so!?  Good luck to all for that "S" on Thursday!

Just going to make note that I called it on Triad notification for Thursday. My "reliable source" was actually pretty reliable ;-P

You work for CNP don't you?

Long time lurker, figured I'd finally sign up.  I'm a spouse- my husband is up for chief for I believe the 5th time this year. I've been lurking on this forum every year and you guys have never failed in keeping us informed- Thanks for that. I'm really hoping that my husband gets it this year, but the rejection has only caused him to step up more and work harder. I can tell he's really itching to make it this year after spending a few months as acting chief of his division, so here's hoping.  Good luck to everybody this year!!

I do to know why but for some reason I just started looking over my evals like i was reevaluating myself to see if there was anything that I could have done more. Not like it's gonna help out any lol. Just the nerves I guess. Back here on beach det while the triad is on the boat. Gonna be interesting come Thursday morning.

Well poo.  I was holding out a slim hope for next week so on the off chance I do get selected I can enjoy the concert next Wednesday right before the results.  Good luck to all those waiting, having a date is better then wondering when the shoe is gonna drop.  With my PRT failure still on my record I'm not giving myself the best odds at being selected, but won't know for sure until Thursday.

To make it short and sweet things most of us already know. And he could only say so much without breaking the rules.

CPO365- more points than we think and it shouldn't be "Active member". SEJPME/ PPME.FCPOA/POA-holds more weight than we think.Same with MOVSM.

It was a detractor when a First eval has only his/her accomplishments, and not their Junior Sailors accomplishments .

Another detractor was not having OMPF updated. Someone OMPF not being updated since 2008 and not sending in a LTB. How can they know about any new quals?

Careery Summary Letter-ok but only 1 page snap shot of last 5 years.

Don't send in College transcript in LTB should send Diploma or have transcript loaded in OMPF.

Being an instructor at a command and taking 2-2 1/2 years to get MTS.

If someone fails a PRT within the 5 years, it's what you do after it. CFL/ACFL, leading CPO365 PT Lead or leading PT.

Long time lurker - you guys are all hilarious - decided to jump in. Not thinking I'll make it this year, but I meet all of these wickets listed above with CPO365 heritage coordinator, AA degree, BA degree in Intel Studies, SEJPME/PPME, volunteer coordinator with a lot of events on deployments and all of that. 24% is pretty good for IS, but I see a lot of other people talk about what they've done and they've all but cured cancer so I dunno. All my evals are above R/S average except my 2 welcome aboard P's from my last 2 commands and I'm going in with an MP this time. Mostly just thinking out loud, but it sounds like everyone in here has a pretty good shot - I hope you all make it!
