  1. In his second term, he is reaching for billions: a $2 billion investment by a United Arab Emirates state-owned enterprise in the Binance crypto exchange using the Trump family’s stablecoin asset. An unknown number of billions placed by Qatar in a Trump-family real-estate development in that emirate, topped by the gift of a 747 luxury jet for the president’s personal use in office and afterward. Government-approved support for a Trump golf course in Vietnam while its leaders were negotiating with the United States for relief from Trump tariffs. Last week, Trump hosted more than 200 purchasers of his meme coin, many of them apparently foreign nationals, for a private dinner, with no disclosure of the names of those who had paid into his pocket for access to the president’s time and favor.
  2. The women’s charges range from unwanted touches and aggressive, sudden kissing to the latest accusation against Trump — that he attacked a woman in a dressing room and forced his penis inside her. Donald Trump, his campaign and the Trump White House have insisted all of the stories are fabricated and politically motivated. So far:
  3. MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell took a scorched-earth approach Monday night to discussing President Donald Trump’s inflammatory Memorial Day message on his Truth Social account. Today, Donald Trump proved once again why he is unworthy to be President of the United States by posting on Memorial Day this poison on social media,” O’Donnell said in response. The “Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” host went on to note, “Think back to Richard Nixon, who was literally driven out of the presidency by the United States Supreme Court unanimously ruling against him. Richard Nixon never once dreamed of using language like that.”
  4. This is absolutely crazy what is happening to our chain-of-command. The White House has lost confidence in a Pentagon leak investigation that Pete Hegseth used to justify firing three top aides last month, after advisers were told that the aides had supposedly been outed by an illegal warrantless National Security Agency (NSA) wiretap.
  5. Wow... The conflict within Hegseth’s inner circle persists even after he purged several political appointees in April and after attempts to portray a sense of unity among his remaining brain trust. His claims, however, are belied by continued behind-the-scenes dysfunction, brought on by unresolved personality conflicts, inexperience, vacancies in key leadership roles and a steady-state paranoia over what political crisis could emerge next, current and former officials said. They described the situation on the condition of anonymity because of its sensitivity and fear of retaliation.
  6. During World War II, the U.S. Navy established a flight nurse program to provide critical en-route medical care for wounded personnel being evacuated from combat zones. These nurses flew on missions aboard R4D and R5D Skytrain aircraft, transforming these planes into airborne ambulances. In 1945, Navy flight nurses made history by serving on active battlefields at Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
  7. Paul Walczak’s pardon application cited his mother’s support for the president, including raising millions of dollars and a connection to a plot to publicize a Biden family diary. Mr. Walczak, a former nursing home executive who had pleaded guilty to tax crimes days after the 2024 election, submitted a pardon application to President Trump around Inauguration Day. The application focused not solely on Mr. Walczak’s offenses but also on the political activity of his mother, Elizabeth Fago.
  8. YOKOSUKA, Japan — A U.S. Navy sailor received a suspended sentence Tuesday for a traffic accident that killed a Japanese motorcyclist near Yokosuka Naval Base last year. 9. WASHINGTON – The Navy program executive officer for unmanned and small combatants (PEO USC) was relieved May 27 due to a loss of confidence based on a complaint substantiated by an Office of the Naval Inspector General investigation.
  10. Morale is plummeting inside the Department of Veterans Affairs as tens of thousands of employees prepare for deep staffing cuts, raising alarms among staffers, veterans and advocates who fear the reductions would severely damage care and benefits for millions of the nation’s former service members.

  14. Yes, I've never seen this happen. There is a copy someplace because TRIAD has their copy so all they need to do is remove the private info and release it unless things have changed.
  15. Thank goodness for our future Naval leaders... Faculty and students at some of the nation’s top military academies are reportedly going underground to continue teaching and studying social justice topics that have been put on the chopping block by the Trump administration. Cadets at the U.S. Naval Academy have allegedly created non-governmental email addresses in order to continue discussions about books and topics that have been banned by the current administration, including critical race theory, according to The Washington Post.
  16. Marjorie Taylor Greene Challenges Artificial Intelligence to an Exercise Session In an astounding, colossal, conspiracy theory filled announcement, MTG announced Saturday from her Vice-Presidential Hopeful Podium (MTG the campaign is over...) that she is challenging AI to a exercise competition. Judging the event will be Laura Loomer, the wicked witch of the west. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a bleach blond, badly built, butch body said last week that nobody can make fun of her even if they are artificially created. She further stated that she will prove to AI how smart she is when she beats it (gender-neutral pronoun please) in the upcoming exercise competition. MTG said the competition will be held at a location protected from Jewish space lasers and that all conspiracy theorist who agree with her politics are welcome free of charge.
  17. That’s because the very values we fought for — freedom, equality, opportunity — are being rolled back by the same government that once relied on our service. From eliminating diversity and inclusion programs to restricting the teaching of hard but necessary truths, these changes are heartbreaking. They don’t reflect the military we were proud to be part of. And they certainly don’t honor the full legacy of those who wore the uniform.
  18. Cdr. Jacob Beckelhymer remembers vividly the first time his warship came under attack in the Red Sea. It was late September of last year, and the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Stockdale was already several months into its lengthy Middle East deployment. Beckelhymer, then the warship's executive officer, knew that the ship and its sailors could be pulled into combat at any moment against the Iran-backed Houthis who had been launching missiles and drones into shipping lanes.
  19. Again showing that trump lied... The financial incentives to reenlist in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines increased dramatically from 2022 through last year, with the Navy vastly outspending the others, according to funding totals provided by the services. The overall amount of recruiting bonuses also rose steadily, fueled by significant jumps in spending by the Army and Marine Corps.
  20. Transparency... The U.S. Defense Department is implementing new restrictions on journalists covering the Pentagon. Defense Secretary Pete Hedgehog announced the changes in a memo Friday. The new policies vastly limit access for credentialed media while inside the Pentagon complex in Arlington, Va.
  21. 3rd Reich... ATLANTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Georgia mother who says she’s a U.S. citizen remains locked inside a private immigration detention center, swept up in a wave of federal immigration enforcement that’s bringing historic profits to the company detaining her. Alma Bowman, 58, was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in March during a routine check-in at its Atlanta field office. ICE transferred her the same day to Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, operated by the private prison contractor CoreCivic, as it initiated deportation proceedings to the Philippines. Bowman’s father, Lawrence Bowman, was a U.S. Navy serviceman from Illinois stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. Alma Bowman was born there in 1966. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was 10, and she’s lived in Macon for nearly five decades. Military records and her birth certificate lists Lawrence Bowman as her father.
