Yepper that will happen when the server is rebooting.

No I don't keep track anymore. There was a time past when we would have maybe three or four times the number of visitors. Could never tell the true count because the server would crash. (it would start crashing at about 3,000 visitors or so) After the forum got hacked the second time (Russia) visitors dropped and I changed to a more secure but smaller server. In the future I might beef it up to handle capacity but that is not my goal now (time constraints).

There's already 500+ people on the front page so the server may crash later on. If it does I might make this thread viewable to members only, but only if needed. Gonna' do a reboot now, standby...

As a reminder: There will be a Triage station set up at 9 AM in preparation for the 11 AM Triad release. We'll have a defibrillator & an HM on standby. That will be port-side. On the Starboard-side we'll have beer, milk & cookies and other refreshments for those still standing. All refreshments are free. However, to cover costs, the Triage station will have a small $99.99 plus taxes charge if you happen to pass out or are otherwise incapacitated. So far as I know each command (Triad) sets their own policy as evident from past cycles.

Triad is given 24hrs to practice their leadership skills.

Wow, these are the kind of stories I hear. Each command sets their own policy in this regard and I think it is a problem that needs to be fixed. How the results were released is the big reason the Navy chose the Triad method in the first place. I'll be throwing up a poll on the 5th about that.

That's one of the issues discussed in the past about the latest release method - no Triad. Thank Senior Chief for trying!

As a reminder, and to kill any rumors: Results will be released to TRIAD Aug 5 at 11:00 AM Eastern. Originally, an erroneous statement on Navy.mil was published stating the 4th. Officials quickly corrected that statement changing it to the correct date - 5 Aug at 11 AM. If the date were to change again the Navy would release a statement: it has not. Results will be released to TRIAD Aug 5 at 11:00 AM Eastern. Further bulletins as warranted...
