If it is in your eval I would not put too much thought to it. I never even had my Surface Warfare Designation Letter in my record but it was always on my eval. Just so you don't forget, go ahead and send them in to PERS now that way when you go up for your next board (hopefully E8) you wont have to stress about them.

Thanks now I can panic and stress out like the other board eligible.

I wanted to share some good news with everyone since we are all kind of an extended family here. My Command nominated me to go and be a mentor for the USS CONSTITUTION this year during Phase II and I was called today and told I was selected. Great honor and I am really hoping to run into some of you there. Moral of the story is that working hard, adding value to Sailors, and the genuine desire to lead pays off when we least expect it to. It is once again a humbling reminder of how fortunate I am and how much the Navy and most importantly Sailors have given to me.

Congratulations to you on that!! A very awesome career milestone!! I will hopefully be one of those to make it up there this year!! I have heard great things about the USS CONSTITUTION

Yes, no pulse, no breathing!

Yeah, don't pay much attention to that. I forget to do those things from time to time!

Speaking of which... we never had any HMs volunteer yet. It's a miracle you survived no pulse, no breathing, and being throw over the side! An HM would have expedited your recovery so you could have started stressing sooner over the results!

It was the Ordie band-aid that got me through! And, it is going to take more than just all that to keep me from stressing out.

As a side note: Who ever was nice enough to make sure my watch would stay safe and dry when I was being tossed over board. Thank you!

Those are life saver band aids. I'm surprised @NavySAR hasn't been on to offer his assistance to pull him out of the drink.

A. What is the weight limit on the cable from the copter? That may be an issue.

2. Make sure there is a brief, a pre-brief, a pre-pre-brief, an exam on the brief, a brief on the exam, a brief for the brief, training on the brief, a brief for what will be on the training, a meeting to discuss what qualifications are required, and a verification of all qualification, and a meeting to discuss that will be briefed at the brief. And, of course this is just to cover the person being rescued, the rescuer will have to go there more.

A. 600 lbs

B. We've briefed, pre-briefed, pre-pre-briefed, tested on said pre-pre, pre-, and brief, been briefed on our performance WRT the test, briefed prior to brief (actual), trained for all briefs, both prior and post, met and verified all required quals, and met to shore up the brief-meeting-brief sandwich. You're good. As the rescuer, I'll make sure I eat >:-)

Well make sure you have a big meal. Shouldn't perform a rescue on an empty stomach! I'll just wait over here with my new swim buddies!

Anyone else having what I like to call "Chief dreams" haha

I had those ever since I was an RM3. The frequency definitely kicked up a notch the year I made it.
