I find myself glued to the forum trying to pass the time away. Hoping like the rest of you in here to get the call. Good luck to all and no matter what just do right all the time, for you sailors, for you, for family, and for country. I myself would like to think I am ready for the next challenge but I keep telling myself to take it one day at a time because I am hopeful this year like last year. But when I didn't get selected last year it hurt a lot because I really listened to a lot of my chiefs saying this is your year. This year I am trying to be optimistic but not open myself up like that. So to my fellow Future Chief Petty Officers (FCPO) as I like to call us keep your heads up and keep doing right, our time will come!

Have any of you seen the selection board debriefing slides from PERS? There are a few  really good powerpoints on the selection process and it has some myths and common questions answered.

Thank you AICS. We actually had training at my command on the slide debriefs, good stuff here.

Since you're a detailer, you probably know the admin detailers, which in turn should mean they know someone in the N1 shop that knows when the results will be coming out...details please...:graphics-3d-smileys-139353:

I think they would have announced it by now if that were the case.

i agree with you, someone knows something just not saying anything. they are just prepping for it and getting all the minor details out of the way now so they don't have to do it later.

Nah I'm sure people are calm, cool, and collected. I mean it's not like we have been waiting months for this or anything

Waiting for what? What's going on? Something I should know about?

and may the comedy start rolling in. I love how we can be light hearted on here even though the topic can be so serious. As the Joker would say " Why so Serious????"

definitely the comic relief that we all need, things have been so serious on here lately. its like some kind of results are getting ready to come out or something.

It feels more like I have been waiting for a year. As soon as I got that "N" last year, the wheels started turning for this year. I've been pumped and ready to go! Lets do this!:D

Don't worry about me folks. As soon as I get some water, a couple of Motrin, this unicorn to stop pestering me, and the dancing elephant to settle down I will be fine.

Deep Six that one, we have to keep room in the infirmary.

Better bust out the "silver bullet" and get that core temp doc.  :128_34:

I know it is to late but I looked through my record one more time.  I have some qualifications missing from my record.  Even though they are minor,  I know I need all the help I can get to stand out.  They are on my evals and mentioned in my write up.  Does the board consider this.  Rather look at the results knowing I am seen fully qualified and not my year then agonize for another year from mistakes I should have recognized.
