The board adjourned a week before the 20jul18 scheduled date last year so it was over 3 weeks before results were released

I just went through this for all the master chiefs in my rating and the only recent training I see is for the one I know did the Senior Chief board

Yeah, they don’t always update that because I know 2 MCPOs from my command that we’re at the Senior Chief board and that wasn’t updated till after results. And the one I think was at this one was at another board already this year and didn’t have the training listed from that one either

Why wouldn’t it? It specifically calls out joint leadership position in convening order

Board package and process this link is to a video posted by the SEL to last years active duty board. It’s mostly about creating your best package. It he goes into a good bit of detail of the board process.

My understanding from what I’ve been told by people that sat the board recently is that there is no grading anymore because every record goes to the tank. The person that gets your record gets 10-15 mins to go through your record and essentially create a briefing sheet. They get around a min to brief your record to the panel in the tank and then they vote their confidence level and that creates the scattergram.

Just for the record, a MCPO from my command that I am 99% sure was at the board is back

Mine didn’t show that at all last year. And the legal portion would only be done for the potential selects and I DOUBT they’d give it away that easy. Prob someone saw us talking about the board being done on the forum and now they are playing with our emotions

Checked mine this morning and it said No Board Information to Display. It had the board information last week. Never heard of a test board before.

I agree. I have been told by senior officers that they hate what the eval and RSCA system has become because some officers take have a lower RSCA as a factor of how they are as officers, but once you make admiral, who cares. So I personally wouldn’t put much credit into that situation.

I have personally never seen a 5.0 but have heard from one of my chiefs about one. It was an FCPO that worked for an admiral, but also heard the RSCA for that person was something like 4.7 or something high like that
