  1. When you say “not up to date”, do you mean on OMPF or your NSIPS is incorrect as well? If you are just talking about OMPF, I think (I’m not 100% on this) it only updates when you re-enlist or transfer. For board package you can send up to date version from NSIPS.
  2. My assumption for not releasing the results until after results are released is an attempt to ensure the integrity of the board isn’t compromised
  3. So they updated the NPC page last night with the NAVADMIN but have not post the membership list yet.
  4. Even if they’re not in the area, email! I did this the last two years and I will again this year. They may not say “you are missing” but the advice will be sound I am sure!
  5. Just letting everyone know I started the FY21 Chief Selection Board thread
  6. time to start the party for FY21! Lets continue to help each other learn and grow. We get better by helping others be better!
  7. Congratulation to everyone that is selected. I am angry about my non selection because of some of those in my rating that were, for reasons I won’t blast here. But at the same time I know there were some GREAT selections as well. On to FY-21!
  8. Was chatting with my mentor and wanted to share his words of wisdom for those that get the “S” ”Stay you through the whole season. Remember you deserve to be there that’s why you were selected.” goodnight y’all and good luck!
  9. Good luck to everyone! Hope to see a lot of good posts in here tomorrow.im TAD in PCola so got to wait for my command to call me one way or the other. It’s been a good year of contributions! I see 145 guests that need to join! @Tony can I at least get a participation award?!
  10. I don’t know what everyone is worked up for. With only 49 pages, we aren't getting anything soon
  11. A Chief I know told me he received the email saying they are TRYING for Wednesday.
  12. It would not have to state that if they made it off the March exam. That’s why the promotion status is frocked. You only get a close out E5 eval if you make it of September exam. @EMN1 I think you are missing an important note in the instruction. “NOTE: In no case may the EP TIR Waiver exceed two consecutive NWAE cycles from the date of the most recent periodic evaluation.“ the waiver can only waive the two exams (for E7 one) that follow your most recent periodic eval. Like I stated previously, your TIR would not work out to used a FROCKED eval for a waiver. None if this really matters because you are eligible now. As long as you’re write ups are on point that’s what matters
  13. If it’s a frocked eval than it would not count for an EP waiver. The promotion status would have to be regular. If you are frocked, you are not in the paygrade. And the math for the TIR wouldn’t work out, because it only waives 1 year.
  14. Only been in the rating for 4 years. But my rating just selected someone for Senior that was a different rating 4 years ago so who knows. Plus I got high quotas this cycle. We shall see
  15. yup. And came out aug 1 in 2013 which was last time sept 16 was a Monday
  16. So who’s been running? I was advised to be able to run 2.5 miles maintaining a 12 min/mile pace
  17. Well with all the rumors of the email floating around from FLTCMs that possible results release Wednesday the 31st, enjoy the possibly last weekend of anticipation. I’ll be TAD next week so hopefully I get a good phone call. Good luck to everyone and I hope to see a lot of “S” announcements on here soon!
  18. If you look at it as training weeks (mon-fri), sept 13th being the end of the 6th week, that would start the first day of the first week as Monday aug 5. If you look at it 6 weeks back to the day from sept 13th that puts it as aug 2. But I’m pretty sure my command is planning on Friday the 2nd.
  19. Thanks for the responses. It was a question intended to be a conversation starter. I’m not a reservist, I was just curious of others opinions.
