  1. So my post typed wrong. I meant to ask why it DIDNT change. By not changing I am referencing the same old collateral duty paragraph and it still being higher in the list
  2. So what do you think is the reason the reserves convening order didn’t change?
  3. I don’t think so. I think it’s just at the bottom now because the section was re-written. For the reserves convening order, the collateral section didn’t move and also was not re-written. They are just subsections of another bullet. I personally don’t think the order matters.
  4. I used labels and put full name, SSN and enclosure numbers on them and places in bottom right corner. But I’m slightly OCD and wanted uniformity on all pages.
  5. So if aug 5 is the start of the 6 weeks, and if results came out aug 1, would all the “fun” wait till aug 5 since season is only suppose to be 6 weeks?
  6. First off, much better conversation starter than well at we had going lol With my understanding that the confidence vote is the 0-100, I would like to think I would have a fair share of 75’s and 100’s to average around 80-85 in the scattergram. Too bad this is something we will never know.
  7. I personally would expect a soft breakout, but there are reasons I could agree and see a transfer EP.
  8. My assumption based off not seeing a soft breakout or ranking that this is either an unranked MP or a P. But with the closer I would go for MP
  9. Oh yeah I mean last year jumped 90 pages between jul25 and 6aug. End of next week I expect a rather large influx
  10. I am just saying, we are 5 days ahead of last year’s forum. It was July 25th when we hit page 33 last year. I’m so bored right now
  11. That’s why it’s used in conjunction with the convening order. Plus if your doing it right, at least I know with my LADR, leadership can been shown while completing some of the labeled considerations.
  12. I look at it like this. Some boxes you should be checking more than once. . Thats how do you show “sustained superior performance”. You could have one or two good years and hit every check, but if you don’t maintain then how is it sustained?
  13. I don’t know about over qualified. I think it’s more if you hit every block, what else are you doing to succeed and improve besides just what the LADR says and not being stagnant Filling the role of an LCPO would be working above your paygrade. So obviously good if you have positive impact
  14. They don’t have access to prims unless you send in with LTB
  15. I don’t think you said anything wrong bro. I love this forum. And one of the reasons is the discussions brought to it. And I think yours was one worth having.
  16. At least the CNO has been pushing against so much weight for collaterals I’m glad it was finally updated in the convening order. But the conversation about tactically and technically proficient has been going on for a few years now. That’s one of the reasons the ratings have the ladrs now to call out what they are looking for. Some ratings don’t even have collaterals or fcpoa or Sailor 360 in their LADRs. Could very well be a reason all quotas not filled, among other things.
  17. I get what you are trying to say. Maybe I am naive but I had a CDR I worked for that has sat several boards and told me even though everyone talks poorly about the process, he said “it is the fairest process there is”. And this is a leader I trust unconditionally. Especially now with the LADRs laying out what is expected for each rating, I think it would be hard for the rating rep to sway the board that much. But I have obviously never been to a board so who knows. I would just hope that personal preferences, or prejudices for that matter, would be overcome to do what’s best for the rating and the Navy.
  18. The only reason I could see it being used against a Sailor is if the rating has a well defined sea/shore rotation, and the rating representative briefs that. However, if there were circumstances beyond the Sailors control that did not allow a Sailor to follow it as defined, personally I would write something about that in my LTB. Because we all know there are those Sailors who try to avoid it intentionally.
  19. In the facilitation guide it specifically mentions a “6 week training plan”. This must be where I saw this
  20. I could be wrong, but isn’t there specific guidance that only allows season to be 6 weeks? So if results were to be released early, they couldn’t start till Aug 2/5?
  21. My rating (CTN) has a 48.6% (89) quota with 183 eligible. I’d be surprised if they used them all.
