For years, his morning routine was as therapeutic as the job he loved: Wake up at 4:30. Run or lift weights by 5 a.m. Then head to the veterans mental health facility where he works in California to help veterans who are struggling after leaving the military—just as he once had. But these days, he says he sleeps through his alarm and wakes up already exhausted, with a pulsing dread in his stomach. The first thing he does is check his email: Does his staff still all have jobs? Does he still have a job? Does his team still exist?

Excuse me "commander-in-chief" but you are the cause of this escalation. After weeks of softening American policy towards Russia by pulling military and intelligence support for Ukraine’s defense, President Donald Trump threatened Moscow with further economic and trade sanctions after a massive Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odessa triggered fires and damaged energy infrastructure.

Donald Trump has revealed he has sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei seeking a new deal with Tehran to halt its rapidly advancing nuclear program and replace the agreement he withdrew America from during his first term. The president disclosed the move in an interview with Fox Business due to air over the weekend, saying: “I’ve written them a letter saying, ‘I hope you’re going to negotiate because if we have to go in militarily, it’s going to be a terrible thing.’”

Unless the current administration intends to send troops to Gaza, this is not the way to negotiate and this is not conducive to maintaining or friendship with our Middle Eastern and Arab allies. In fact, his methods are childish to say the least. WASHINGTON − ''Shalom Hamas," President Donald Trump declared in Hebrew in what he said was his final ultimatum to the Palestinian group that attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Filled with capital-letter threats of "HELL TO PAY LATER!" Trump, in a posting on his social media site Truth Social, told Hamas ''you are sick and twisted" before demanding that they release all the remaining Israeli hostages.

When you’re serving on a Navy submarine with dozens of torpedoes and nuclear-tipped missiles, the best days are the boring ones. Boring on a submarine is good. Boring means everything is working like it should and everyone is doing what they are supposed to do. But, like with so many aspects of military life, there are a million and one things that can go wrong. And when they do, the crew must lean on its training and respond within seconds—or everyone dies. In October 1988, I faced such a day when a humanitarian transfer in rough seas led to a man overboard in frigid waters.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Your TRICARE explanation of benefits is an essential tool for understanding your health claims. An EOB is a statement from your health plan that details what action TRICARE has taken on your claims. An EOB isn’t a doctor’s bill. But it does tell you what TRICARE has paid—or not paid—on your claim and how much you owe to your provider for your share of the costs, as described in Chapter 8, Section 8 of the TRICARE Operations Manual. Take a moment to understand your EOB, what it means, and what may be required on your part.

Fellow Vets and family who were fired by DOGE. I know that the below words that came out of Habba's mouth is not true. Alina Habba's poor ethics as a lawyer, and quest to be in the limelight most likely make her popular with trump. As the daughter of immigrants who fled Iraq, she should very well know how competent United States Veterans are after we put Saddam Hussein in his place: The very same dictator that led Alina Habba's parents to flee Iraq. Additionally, as much as that lawyer has been admonished by judges, she should not question or judge anyone in regard to capabilities. The counselor and top attorney representing President Donald Trump (Alina Habba) raised questions Tuesday about the the capability and willingness of veterans to work after an unknown number have been fired from jobs as part of sweeping layoffs that continue to reduce the federal government’s footprint.
