  1. Alrighty folks, people are signing up but with a heavier load than usual I'm getting notified later rather than sooner. I'll get to them though...
  2. For those lurking, now is a good time to sign up for an account. It may close up later when things get hot & busy!
  3. I bet I make that mistake more than you do
  4. Oops sorry, we're trying to help out osiris0107.
  5. Yeah baby, that's the one! I suggest osiris0107 recommend this one to his CMC for their command BBQ, thanks!
  6. In the past I've heard some include the disclaimer "Subject to change" or words to that effect.
  7. I don't think so, we'd have to average 10 to 17 pages per day. The good news is that since about Friday, we've had a larger amount of visits and people joining up than usual. Even more than last year even though it is oddly later. I expect it to continue too since that's how it usually works. I just don't know why it's more than usual.
  8. Charcoal, great choice! But I was curious what they were going to cook. Are they going to grill something like Grilled Skirt Steaks With Two Chimichurris, or Grilled Tenderloin Of Beef With Spicy Fresh Herb Vinaigrette or Grilled Leg Of Lamb With Pearl Onion And Plum Chutney? Glad it's charcoal, Ordy prefers smoked though.
  9. absolutely no problem at all. I wish that button said "Reply" instead of "Quote"
  10. To reply to a post simply hit the "quote" button, lower right. That will help others know which post you were referring to...
  11. Yes, smoked is the way to go. Can't remember cuz' that's when it gets busy but in the last SelRes results thread someone posted that a notification was given.
  12. Ok thanks, but what are they BBQing? And it is Smoked, gas or charcoal? I love BBQs, my mouth is watering, can you ask your CMC, just let him know everyone is curious?
  13. That is very nice of your CMC & their Chief's Mess to call and find out when the results will be released, do you know what they are going to BBQ? And is it smoked, gas or charcoal?
  14. We're having more people than usual register on this forum recently, that's a good thing. With that said, I'd like to remind new registrants, and those that have not done so, to look at the guidelines for smoother sailing while we wait for the results. Also, feel free to join up now if you are lurking. There may be a time frame, as with past cycles, that the forum closes for new registration because things get too busy.
  15. And here's an example -> E-4 - E-6 Advancement Results Release Schedule
  16. So far as I know they announce when the results will be released to Triad, then the public. I think it's a public announcement but before the public announcements, I am not sure. For the life of me I cannot remember the office and I should cuz' I got in a fight with them but that's what I know.
  17. It's BOL as explained to me. When Triad logs in they are able to see the results because they have a different access level which is higher. Then, that same database is made view-able to the public 24hrs later. This forum has the same functions where there are other sections that are view-able to respected and trusted members but no one else can see them. Also members can enter the "Mentor" section but not lurkers (the public). Also, there is a classified version of the admin message (has the ssn) and the public (does not have the ssn).
  18. I have posted the "Past Active Duty Selection Board Results" in the Chief's category of this forum (the topic is pinned). If someone can gather the SelRes results I can post and pin that as well. It's best if they are both in the same format.
  19. I've added the "Past Active Duty CPO Selection Board Results" at the bottom of the Advancement Exam & Board Results. I've also include a general "How the Process Works" and a pie chart of when it has been released by day of the week. You can hover over the pie chart and it will give you the corresponding day. Hopefully I am reminded to update this.
  20. In the college education and Navy training, I've posted the "Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Changes Course" (Path to master chief includes advanced leadership at U.S. Naval War College) Just in case you want a head start...
