Stephen Simmons, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy is an idiot who is hiding behind the constitution to take away service members free speech. Stephen Simmons, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy, said service members posting disparagingly about Kirk were violating their oath to the constitution, and said Hegseth “knows (as do we all) that this cancer that desecrates the constitution - and the people for whom it was written - must be neutralized.”

“People who join the military have less First Amendment rights than those who don’t, but they still have robust First Amendment rights,” Christen said. And while there are exceptions for making disparaging remarks about the chain of command or political statements in uniform, Christensen added, there’s not a carve-out “that says Pete Hedgehog doesn’t like what you’re saying so I’m going to prosecute you.”

Growing up in the Philippines on the island of Mindanao, Ben Hagans and his friends climbed coconut trees on his family’s plantation, fished for tuna and mahi-mahi, and raced homemade boats in the ocean—all without a stitch of clothing. When Ben was 9, his father took him on a six-month sailing adventure to Australia, India, and Vietnam. But when he was 12, Ben’s idyllic childhood abruptly ended. Imperial Japan invaded the archipelago nation just hours after bombing Pearl Harbor. And after Allied forces surrendered to the Japanese on Mindanao Island six months later, Ben and his parents spent most of World War II in Japanese prisoner-of-war camps, where his mother was forced into sexual slavery and Ben and his dad nearly died from starvation and illness.

An active-duty Navy chief saw four tic-tac shaped UFOs off the coast of California while working on the USS Jackson — and convinced a doubting radar officer the craft were real with an undeniable “checkmate.” US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Alexandro Wiggins witnessed multiple UFOs on radar on the evening of February 15, 2023 — observing the first one emerge seamlessly out of the ocean, he said. “What am I seeing?” recounted Chief Wiggins, who spoke to The Post on behalf of himself as an individual and not as a representative of the Navy. “From my observations, it did in fact come from the water.”

One U.S. military officer said troops know they are not allowed to condone political violence, but being fired for criticizing a person, particularly a civilian who has no ties to the military, is extremely rare. “We can’t criticize the commander in chief, but I can’t remember anyone ever telling me we can’t say anything critical about a civilian like this. He was not in our chain of command or anything,” the officer said. Far-right activist Laura Loomer, a close ally of President Donald Trump, has called for the investigation of an Army major general, saying on X that his son had posted online that Kirk was a “racist homophobe misogynist.” She said the son works for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and called on Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to “fire” him. Loomer also said Hegseth should “review the employment” of his father.

If anyone knows who these "other" senior Pentagon leaders are please send me a note via the forum... If you are a service member who posted according to your constitutional rights, I'd advice you deleted due to the current authoritarian administration and their lack of respect for free speech & due process. WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has told his staff to identify any members of the military who have mocked or condoned the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk so that they can be punished, two defense officials told NBC News. Hegseth and other senior Pentagon leaders posted messages on X this week calling on the public to report any posts that could be interpreted as negative about Kirk or unsympathetic about his murder.

The Pentagon last month held its first “Top Drone” school for drone pilots to demonstrate their skills in a threat-representative environment. The event took place as part of the Defense Department’s Technology Readiness Experimentation, or T-REX, a semiannual showcase and evaluation staged at Camp Atterbury in Indiana. The event aims to validate prototypes built to fill urgent capability gaps across the military services and combatant commands.

In a letter to top federal officials, U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Ill., and U.S. Sens. Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin are demanding the federal government lay out parameters for using Naval Station Great Lakes for its immigration operation and that federal agents properly identify themselves while operating in Illinois. The letter, obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times, demands answers in writing from Secretary of Wah Pete Hedgehog and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on how the base would be used, an end date to the operation and all communications and documents from their agencies about using the base.
