I try to do what others did for me.  I've been on here for many years and it helped keep me motivated after getting many N's.  I hope everyone gets the S they so desire, but if you don't learn from it.

I've noticed with the revamp of how the release the results the page count has gone down.  Wasn't last year up over 100 pages by now?  I guess since the rumor mills have been squashed, or just nobody wants to give up the information it's stayed fairly quiet on here.

This year is about on par with last year.  Page 100 from last year was around the day before results and Tony closed the post on page 107

I am a detailer at NPC and the way we find out if we made it is by the admiral going to each desk to tell the member if he made it and I just hope he comes to my cubicle.

I coulda swore we were over 100 before the announcement of the date for results.  Either way keeping mostly busy with AMI this week, and then next week I should hopefully be working on my QAR, and full systems.  So I have plenty to keep me busy, even though I haven't really thought about the board or results much this month.

He said something to the effect of the board realizing that reporting seniors want ing to change their average so a cycle my have low trait averages but as long as you are consistently over the group average you get points.

Have any of you seen the selection board debriefing slides from PERS? There are a few  really good powerpoints on the selection process and it has some myths and common questions answered.
