Correct, @Tony

I just remembered that August 3rd is my 12 year Navy birthday. Feels good.

My husband has already promised his one of my 5lb cheesecakes, whether he makes it or not. lol
My wife stopped making her famous cheesecake because she's on this weird thing called a "diet."
It's so depressing. -

Just Curious, now that we know when the results are out, if selected what will you bring to your Chief's Mess?
A bunch of newly cleaned coffee cups.

Well the way that this forum has lit up the past week, It would be safe to say that we are gonna be over 100 pages by tomorrow night and that's a good thing. Cause last year the results came out after we hit 100 so maybe CNP is waiting for the forum to it 100 before the Triads get notified lol. Good luck to all!! I hope that the list that @ET1EXWIWSW put out comes true and we all get the "S".
I mean, what makes more sense? Flying a bunch of MCPOs to PERS or just email @Tony for a list of members?

My sailor is thinking it'll be Wednesday. Everyone waiting for results at his command has been told to come ready to weigh in tomorrow...is this a normal thing? Never heard of a weigh in required prior to results before.
We did ours when the Selection Board Eligible list came out. If you're eligible, you take a PRT.

Well, here's to hoping, based on our infallible voodoo optics, that our pushing this thread over 100 pages tonight will trigger the next part of the results announcement process-Triad notification. Hurry up and wait, and hang on kids.
I feel like I'm sitting in a pax terminal with everyone here...except we're all on standby. Just waiting for that person behind the counter to grab the microphone and call our number.

Yeah you are.
"and 149 more"I just copied and pasted that list at the bottom.

I started in mayport did a few trips around and ended back here.
I hope to make it back one day. It's a great family town, plenty to do within a reasonable distance. Yeah, the summer heat is miserable, but that's what the beach is for.

I have asked this who is mayport mafia here?
I could've been Mayport Mafia, but then I PCS'd to greener pastures. But I really miss Jacksonville.

Here's what I want the list to look like:
and 149 more.

This jist I got was it was just a heads up to a new policy change, with the official word to come.
It does literally say "Please discuss and share any/all of these tools to get the word to the deck plate."

I seem to remember someone earlier saying they heard that results were waiting till the redistribution info was published. Does FORCMs email mean that it has, I wonder?
Info = NAVADMIN, I imagine.

Absolutely I agree but I hope you do get the "S"!
Thank you!
I hope we all get an S! -

I understand and totally get it, but like I said this is feedback coming from a ETCM that sat this years AD board.
I hate this game.
Last year, I submitted that stuff that was missing from my OMPF for quals and got the N.
This year, I didn't submit it because it's in my EVALS. We'll see how that works out for me. -

Funny I'm at FORCM's command, I must have skipped over that email.
I usually miss the emails that fall under some obscure outlook rule I created to sort it in to some folder...like deleted items...I mean, "IMPORTANT STUFF"

Another detractor was not having OMPF updated. Someone OMPF not being updated since 2008 and not sending in a LTB. How can they know about any new quals?
The answer I got to this question was "if it's in your EVALs, then don't submit it," even when talking about quals.

Definitely not elective under that verbiage, just that limited spaces are available. I could see each installation sending a few Selectees.
A selectee needs to apply to go and then get yet another "S" and then they need to find a CPO to tag along with them.

I have a feeling we are going to see the results in the next two days to support a seven week season. Selectees this year will have to spend a week at RTC, which will take away a week from Command's abilities to train their new Chiefs.
1 minute ago, ITSME said:I heard this was a choice. Not a thing. I can't see the navy spending the money to send every select to RTC
From NAVADMIN 152/17
3. Only 150 CPO selectees (max 75 male/75 female) and 15 Chief mentors are authorized.

Not all selectees will participate in the "back to bootcamp" week. It's elective, like the Constitution.
