  1. “We’re going up to Camp David; we have meetings with various people about very major subjects,” Trump said. “We’ll be meeting with a lot of people, including generals, as you know, and admirals.” Trump wouldn’t say what the meetings would be about or whether any foreign officials would be joining.
  2. Added to this conflict category in jest... The reality is that there are a few men in diapers running our government A schoolyard brawl between Elon Musk and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent contributed to Musk’s messy break-up with Donald Trump, according to a new report. Musk thrust his shoulder into Bessent’s rib cage “like a rugby player,” The Washington Post reported, based on an interview with Trump ally Steve Bannon.
  3. Secretary of Defense Pete Hedgehog has threatened to deploy active-duty Marines in Los Angeles, California, as riots against ICE continue. Hegseth posted the threat on X late Saturday night. "The violent mob assaults on ICE and Federal Law Enforcement are designed to prevent the removal of Criminal Illegal Aliens from our soil," Hegseth wrote. "A dangerous invasion facilitated by criminal cartels (aka Foreign Terrorist Organizations) and a huge NATIONAL SECURITY RISK."
  4. How about giving Navy ships & Sailors a break. If the Coast Guard can't pick up the tempo give the Navy more ships. Weapons smuggling, drug trafficking, and illegal immigration are exactly what the Coast Guard does... A fourth US Navy destroyer that participated in the Red Sea conflict is on its way to support President Donald Trump's southern border mission, bringing a range of advanced naval combat capabilities to a very different operating environment.
  5. Because musk & tRump are two grown men in diapers... Musk later recanted his threat. But it alarmed officials at NASA, which entrusts SpaceX with the lives of its astronauts, and at the Pentagon, which relies heavily on the company to launch its most sensitive satellites.
  6. The Red Sea conflict, now in the second month of a cease-fire, has been a heavy strain on the Navy, stressing warship crews and draining critical munitions. Though this fight has been a challenge, leaders within the service believe that it is but a taste of what a future war against China, which has far more sophisticated missiles than the Yemeni rebels, would look like.
  7. On military bases across the globe, books are disappearing from shelves. Posters of historical figures, like Frida Kahlo, are being removed from walls. Black History Month celebrations are being cancelled. This rampant censorship is the result of the Department of Defense’s new policies banning books, classroom discussions, events, and extracurriculars that relate to race and gender in military-run schools on bases around the world. At the American Civil Liberties Union, we know that all students deserve access to a diverse education and, the DOD’s efforts to strip them of this right violates the First Amendment. So we took the DoD to court.

  9. The search for a missing U.S. Navy sailor in Virginia is ongoing after she has not been seen since last week, police said. The Virginia State Police issued a "critically missing adult alert" on behalf of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service for Angelina Petra Resendiz, 21, on Tuesday, June 3. Resendiz was last seen on May 29 at 10 a.m. local time at her barracks in Miller Hall at Naval Station Norfolk, according to police.
  10. CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A wanted man led law enforcement in Chattanooga on a high-speed chase and jumped the fence at the Naval Operational Support Center before officers caught up with him Thursday afternoon.
  11. A top retired Navy legal official is sounding the alarm over what he sees as a growing and dangerous politicization of the military legal system and the lawyers who run it.
  12. The problem with their complaint and court filings are that they are stuck at Camp Lemonnier Naval Installation in Djibouti "ICE officers continue to feel ill with symptoms such as coughing, difficulty breathing, fever, and achy joints. These symptoms align with bacterial upper respiratory infection, but ICE officers are unable to obtain proper testing for a diagnosis,(???)" Melissa Harper, acting deputy executive associate director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, wrote in a court filing. The Trump administration has blamed Judge Murphy for "stranding" ICE agents in Africa, despite the government's own request to keep deportees overseas. Camp Lemonnier Naval Installation
  13. A cascade of other revelations followed, including stories detailing the unusual role that Hegseth’s wife, Jennifer, has played in his work at the Pentagon, where she has attended meetings with foreign officials and issued orders related to her husband’s media appearances. News reports also revealed that Hegseth gave his younger brother a senior Pentagon role and authorized the installation of a makeup studio at a cost of thousands of dollars. Current and former officials told us that Hegseth has since threatened to polygraph numerous senior officials, including the acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He has also overturned decades of tradition in the military’s relationship with the press, ousting media outlets from their long-standing Pentagon workspaces in favor of Trump-friendly voices and ending reporters’ access to most of the building.
  14. What an idiot... “Sometimes you’re better off letting them a fight for a while and then pulling them apart," Rump said. He added that he had relayed that analogy to Russian President Vladimir Putin in their phone conversation on Wednesday. (???????)
  15. For nearly a century, veterans have camped on the National Mall and slept on the steps of the Capitol to rally for their benefits. On June 6, they're bringing the fight back to Washington.

  22. Greenland is currently the purview of U.S. European Command, which is headquartered in Germany. U.S. Northern Command is in charge of defending the U.S. homeland and the shift more closely aligns with Trump's pledge to take control of the Danish territory.
  23. Is that what the U.S. has become? ISLAMABAD — Afghans who worked for the U.S. during its war against the Taliban urged President Donald Trump Thursday to exempt them from a travel ban that could lead to them being deported to Afghanistan, where they say they will face persecution. Their appeal came hours after Trump announced a U.S. entry ban on citizens from 12 countries, including Afghanistan.
