  1. Yeah Dogg, we have a different mindset here on this forum which ends up being a resource for all
  2. I forgot to mention too that the Official Navy Advancement Center, Pensacola contact me with kudos about the website and what WE ALL do here... This was last week
  3. Scuttlebutt has always been fine since the inception of NavyAdvancement.com. If someone heard something, they can share it here and others can verify, give a yea or give a nay. The only time there is an issue is when someone is trolling and intentionally give false information. I pretty much know the routine and come down hard on those individuals. Otherwise, scuttlebutt is really part of what we can go on here and vetting will occur. If someone posts information that they heard that might not be factual someone usually comes on and say "the reason that is not true is because <insert reason>" - it's that simple. People do not have to reveal their source but it is their reputation that comes to light. We all learn and people are more inclined to post rather than not because they are worried about offending someone...
  4. appreciate the heads up and will most definitely put it in my notes. for some gosh darn reason I cannot send those messages to myself from this forum. there is a break somewhere. again, appreciate your info...
  5. no problem, oh you remember those days (we also did that roundtable ), yeah it takes more resources and time for internet security but hopefully what I have in place is good. So far this morning attempts were made from the U.S., China, Ukraine and Germany but the difference was they were all automatically blocked. Thanks and let the fun continue...
  6. And so once again the day is saved, thanks to the Powerpuff Girls! (don't ask) (or at least ask YNC(SS) )
  7. actually it was good timing, almost spit my drink out because I was adding some extra security stuff that is greek to me and I have tighten the hatches and I saw your post and it reminded me about why I was knocking my head against the wall just now.
  8. lol, busted! thought I wouldn't see that heh?
  9. Heads up that the guidelines are located here - > http://www.navyadvancement.com/forum-guidelines.php
  10. as a sidebar, I accidentally deleted the MECP thread after removing a member for blatantly violating the guidelines (it's easier to do that booboo than you know). If anyone wishes to fire it back up that is cool.
  11. scuttlebutt is always fine so no need to apologize, you came back and explained and that's good enough here...
  12. No problem, thank you for joining Dogg. I had to redo the forum people, all accounts were lost so you will have to create a new account if you want to join in the mix
  13. Thank you kindly, this website is locked down tight security wise now but that other one got through because it came from behind an Navy NMCI which is a first on me - but will pursue.
  14. People, that last poster was banned. I strongly recommend that if anyone sent information to that company that they make no further contact with them. Further bulletins possible.
  15. I've posted the Navy Core Values and Code of Ethics in the Navy Policy, Guidelines & Official Statements forum. Good read for those aspiring to become an officer in the United States Navy
  16. Others have said she can be pleasant too. (yet others have said the opposite) Still, if she did something wrong /unethical, especially in her position, she should be held accountable. As I understand, the Master Chief of the USS Jason Dunham is pleasant and popular too but should be held accountable if proven guilty for the incident linked below. It's about abusing one's position that is the issue. Something that does not sit well with me especially when it impacts someone's career. Very much appreciate your post though... Female sailors forced to march with buckets of human waste, Navy says http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/20/21989350-female-sailors-forced-to-march-with-buckets-of-human-waste-navy-says
  17. well, I think that would be the better option than having our shipmates going insane and calling Ms. Kemp asking "Are we there yet?"
  18. Out of sympathy for you all waiting, I made a MSC - IPP page on NavyAdvancement.com. If you have any input please send it my way http://www.navyadvancement.com/enlisted-officer/medical-service-corps-ipp.php
  19. If anything comes out of this please let us know. I'm curious to see if there is a positive outcome and hopeful that that type of behavior does not continue. Thanks for the posts.
