    So the deal for the countdown is pick your date and I'll add the vote. Top picks will countdown to that date followed by the other dates below it. So far we have 2 for the 3rd of Aug and 1 date unsure. Countdown. Guaranteed to stress you to no end...

    Okay, I updated the final countdown. I think @navyordie123 will change his vote for Triad release but I'll wait to see what he says. Otherwise that counts as countdown two

    Okay, so actually I may have a countdown Javascript function I can use. It would go to a link to the NavyAdvancement.com website. If we finalize a fictitious date of which everyone likes betting on anyway, I can try setting up a countdown.

    Oh yeah. It would be a consensus to 1 date. I could not get it to work with 2 dates. It would have been more fun with the top three though.

    It's supposed to support javascript and that's what I had before the forum upgrade - PHP function with javascript.

    Can't do it this year because of time constraints. The other one I had, written in PHP does not function on this forum for some reason.

    I wanted to reply to this earlier but was caught up on some other stuff. I have always been impressed when someone goes out of their way to help others they do not know simply from the kindness of their heart. In my mind it's like "What makes that person want to help other shipmate in a genuine way?" Believe it or not, in the past, I have also had officers and chiefs drop in and send me emails with some good gouge. They don't become members, they simply send info without their name and leave it at that. Can you imagine that? An officer or Chief anonymously helping out enlisted? Pretty cool if you ask me just as it is pretty cool that @CPO_Pride247 helps others achieve their goal of making Chief (and/or career). Now that impresses me and judging by other posts, it impresses other members. But how you become "Trusted Member" is still something out of the Da Vinci Code or even pirates of the Caribbean...

    That's actually true. think of the Da Vinci Code, except the characters are members of this forum, some who are an enigma (just like me) and others who hold powerful positions (or have otherwise participated in an AERR!)

    NAC recently published the Cycle 234 January 2017 Chief Petty Officer advancement exam bibliographies on Navy Knowledge Online and Navy COOL. Candidates should download the bibliographies to access the exact reference material that was used to verify questions for the upcoming rating advancement exam. Periodically check back to see if BIB updates post for your rating.
