First things first, Chest Frockwell has a awesome avy. Secondly, good morning to you all, and thirdly, I may have cursed/jinxed myself. I had a dream that I was selected. it creeped me out because I never dream about work related stuff. It has never happened to me before so I am going to go over to FFSC and see if I can get counseling to see what all of this means.

Great post!  Ill be right there in line behind you.  I never dream about work stuff and this has happened to me in the last week.  :P

I'd stay away from for-profit institutions.

I usually am in the same boat but looking at GCU in a different light as they are regionally accredited and actually are a brick/mortar school.

Lol that's really how I feel. I know my husband is tired of me talking about his results but I'm like a little kid the night before Christmas!

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Unisom will be my friend. I am really, really wound around the axle this year. This is my 4th time up, and the first year I think I have a real chance of making it. In previous years, I really did not think I had a chance so I didn't sweat it.

Not much said at work today! Except for the PFA NAVADMIN. Even sat in a CDB with the CMC and um, well, nothing. One MC that I haven't seen in years talked to me for a few about it but not much there either. Got the "all eligible Firsts get your spouse name and number to us" call though. Here's to a quick 36+ hours folks. Good luck and get some rest! Many are gonna need it.

Been looking on this site since June. I have read all 116 pages and have got to say, thank goodness for this forum, this thing has tons of great information. This is my first time up and after reading it all, I have my work cut out for me!! Best of luck to everyone who leads from the front, and not in the shadows. I get more excited for those who have lead me into becoming the person I am today that are SBE, then myself! I have a feeling that even tho I haven't ever met any of you all, that the information that is on this site that has been posted will greatly help in my next coming years. Keep up the great work, and words from a friend of mine. Keep pressing forward , give it your all, make your good your better, and your better your best, strive for greatness, and never forget where you come from.

Hello everyone been lurking all week and decided to make an account, feel confident this year only because their is nothing in my record that says don't pick me. LOL ?! Completed my IDW today wasn't excited or proud ? like i was when I got my ESWS.

If you don't mind me asking, what changed this year from the previous years to make you feel this way?

I'm in the same thought process. For me, it's that my slip up is far enough back to allow a long stretch of success after to out weigh it

So glad I'm using all of my use or lose leave right now. Cannot imagine what games the chiefs are playing with the SBE's.  Good luck to everyone hope you were all able to take care of any personal items that my become due for the next 6 weeks.

it was very uncomfortable today during our mission brief one of our Master Chiefs was introducing a new Master Chief instructor and myself to my old CO and referenced me to him "...and Chief Davis who you let come over" and all the chiefs went well there is the official results.

Dead silent at my command. Everybody is to focused on the change of command and upcoming "stuff"( not selection stuff).

They really are not playing with us at all. Zero pulse. We had no one make it last year, except two E-6's that attached in July. So hopefully one of us makes it this year.

Sweet avi

Well then I hope you are one of the fortunate FCPO's to receive that "S"

I hope so as well.

There has been almost nothing said at my command either, except for our weigh ins today and them saying that we better have our Development Guides done.

Still want to know who the BM1 was that gave us their Career Summary page...apparently we were on the Wayne E Meyer at the same time...

He's a member here -> BM1. BM3. BM2. BM1.

There's a poll going on in the PRT category of this forum regarding the new PRT message.

The CDB poll will close Wednesday & I'll add another poll that same day.

There will be a Triage station set up at 9AM in preparation for the 11 AM Triad release. We'll have a defibrillator & an HM on standby. That will be port-side. On the Starboard-side we'll have beer, milk & cookies and other refreshments for those still standing. All refreshments are free. However, to cover costs, the Triage station will have a small $99.99 plus taxes charge if you happen to pass out or are otherwise incapacitated.

Good Luck!!

I think it's a $15 flat fee. The best option is to head to the beer stand. Definitely cheaper by far!

:D
