The US Navy Could Build A Lot Of Frigates. They Might Sail Into The 2080s

Recommended Posts

To keep pace with a fast-growing Chinese fleet, the U.S. Navy could launch a crash program to build new missile frigates. Lots of new missile frigates.

And if it does, expect the new Constellation-class frigate to remain in production for a long, long time. As in, 30 years or longer. And that could mean Constellations hanging around in the U.S fleet as late as the 2080s.
