  1. 1st USS Donald Cook DDG 75- DLR Manager 2nd NOSC Fort Carson- Independent storekeeper 3rd VP-62-LPO 2813,2829,3001,9590,9595,95PT NECs I have held CFL, Department Career Counselor, CTT Lead, EAWS Coordinator, FCPOA VP, and President, Color Guard Lead, I am FTS
  2. Let's go getting ready for next year. LS here: 9 years in this in going to be my 2nd time up Sailorization throughout my Evals, SEJPME, PPME, surface and air warfare qualed, 2813,9590,3001,2829,95PT and will have my 9595 necs FCPOA VP and interim President for 5 months documented on Evals, volunteer service in Evals but no MOVSM, no degree, chaired numerous MAP, JSOQ, JSOY, EAWS boards, CTT lead, Department Career Counselor, Color Guard Lead, EAWS Coordinator, LPO. I am in my orders window what should be my focus when I check into my next command as far as collaterals, I plan on leaving here ranked EP.
  3. What if they didn't tell you why you didn't make it but released a rack and stack of where you did fall out?
  4. He said something to the effect of the board realizing that reporting seniors want ing to change their average so a cycle my have low trait averages but as long as you are consistently over the group average you get points.
  5. I asked a Master Chief who has set boards what is weighed more ITA vs SGA or ITA vs RSCA he said SGA. Said RSCA wasn't a major factor.
  6. I honestly believe it was a gross oversight at the command I didn't hold any of the typical collateral duties that would raise that block and completely over looked it on both Evals. Training on my part to go line by line every time. I just hope that this doesn't paint an inconsistent picture of me.
  7. Just noticed an oversight on my part my first eval at my squadron I got a P the average was 3.55 and I got a 3.43 my EO block was a 4 the next eval I got a MP the average was 3.66 and I got a 3.86 but my EO block was a 3. My question is this a distractor or does it throw mixed signals to the board?
  8. That math only works if they are looking at one record at a time. They review records in panels so I'm sure more time is dedicated to going through our records.
  9. No selection here but I will continue to assist young sailors with their careers. I will add FCPOA VP, Color Guard, and EAWS Coordinator to my next eval. Any LS that has sat a board I would love for you to have a look at my record.
  10. Here's another one. What is the weight given to NECs during selection? I have 4 rated NECs and the 95PT.
  11. CPO_Pride247 thanks for your feedback. I've been using the block for just that ensuring that my command put duties I am actually interested in on there. I was recommended for detailer duty on last eval. I know some people say you want to have CPO in that block.
  12. So as far as the selection board less Impactful.
  13. What is the impact of any of the recommended duties block 41? I've had CPO in there and I've also had other duty recommendations. On an early E5 eval the only recommendation they gave me was sea duty. Not my best eval.
  14. I am sure that any additional awards i.e SOY, SOQ, MOVSM only help your chances. That included with your sustained superior performance and your up to date record will bring that S.
  15. FTS here we got an email today from on of the Chiefs telling all board eligible a to do a PARFQ and that results were anticipated between 23-30 June. So my 30 Jun prediction my be right.
  16. Yea I have read that before, I guess I worded my question wrong. It doesn't state when the CPO 365 PQS must be complete.
  17. What is the exact guidance on the CPO365 PQS completion prior to selection?
  18. The old I heard from a very reliable source lol i can't with the suspense.
  19. Yea couldn't get on yesterday at all.
  20. FTS/SELRES board adjourns tomorrow here's hoping for a June 30th release lol.
  21. Yea that's exactly what I read this puts me at a slight disadvantage if it holds true but I am still confident in the process.
