  1. Thank you kindly, this website is locked down tight security wise now but that other one got through because it came from behind an Navy NMCI which is a first on me - but will pursue.
  2. People, that last poster was banned. I strongly recommend that if anyone sent information to that company that they make no further contact with them. Further bulletins possible.
  3. I've posted the Navy Core Values and Code of Ethics in the Navy Policy, Guidelines & Official Statements forum. Good read for those aspiring to become an officer in the United States Navy
  4. Others have said she can be pleasant too. (yet others have said the opposite) Still, if she did something wrong /unethical, especially in her position, she should be held accountable. As I understand, the Master Chief of the USS Jason Dunham is pleasant and popular too but should be held accountable if proven guilty for the incident linked below. It's about abusing one's position that is the issue. Something that does not sit well with me especially when it impacts someone's career. Very much appreciate your post though... Female sailors forced to march with buckets of human waste, Navy says http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/20/21989350-female-sailors-forced-to-march-with-buckets-of-human-waste-navy-says
  5. well, I think that would be the better option than having our shipmates going insane and calling Ms. Kemp asking "Are we there yet?"
  6. Out of sympathy for you all waiting, I made a MSC - IPP page on NavyAdvancement.com. If you have any input please send it my way http://www.navyadvancement.com/enlisted-officer/medical-service-corps-ipp.php
  7. If anything comes out of this please let us know. I'm curious to see if there is a positive outcome and hopeful that that type of behavior does not continue. Thanks for the posts.
  8. Dang it HMCIDC you beat me to the post , but will also give my two cents worth (and everyone here is welcome and encouraged to do that too) Doc, I can always empathize with someone who works hard or has a stressful position but someone abusing their position is a complete turn off for me going way back - especially when it involves the Navy and the impact on Sailors. One of my things that throws everything else out the window... And if she is a liaison she should not be involved in the vetting process. HMCIDC's post is better with the response but wanted to add my two cents that that is not acceptable in the Navy
  9. He - got it... wow, I could see if it was a mistake and then she corrected the errors, but that is abuse of one's positions, no if, ands or buts. In those types of situations I always wonder "who is their supervisor?" As I mentioned the program fits the needs of the Navy and "best qualified" should not be determined by personal choice. Unbelievable... I agree with what you said and hope that this will be able to affect change and make the vetting more professional.
  10. HMCIDC mentions something about the poor support on the first page and that he (or she?) was going to mention the poor support. I hope we get updated on that too. This program serves the needs of the Navy. It isn't as if you all are asking for a freebie or something.
  11. this time it was someone from Russia - they use the server assets to do things over the internet.
  12. yep, well 99% for you... and actually someone hacked into the older server rendering it useless. It was full speed ahead though to get things back running for you all. welcome back smf8
  13. and imagine the time I spent hunting for a more secure yet cost effective server and then rebuilding the forum and website, working into the late hours of the night - all just for you...
