    • As of Friday, the strike group was operating near the salvage site of two U.S. Navy aircraft assigned to USS Nimitz (CVN-68) that crashed last month in the South China Sea. Navy salvage ship USNS Salvor (T-ARS-52) is searching for an F/A-18F Super Hornet and an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter that crashed within half an hour of each other, a Navy official confirmed to USNI News.
    • Unlawful orders have come up many times in U.S. military courts over the decades, with prosecutors pushing back against the "Nuremberg defense," a reference to the Nuremberg trials after World War II, in which several Nazis unsuccessfully defended their actions by claiming they they were following orders from their superiors.
    • “They are literally saying to 1.3 million active-duty servicemembers to defy the chain of command – not to follow lawful orders,” Karolying Leavitt said. But that is not what they were literally saying. In fact, the members were not urging anyone to disobey “lawful orders.” They explicitly referred in the video only to unlawful orders – and repeatedly so.
    • Recently, Clifford “Buzz” Grambo decided to upgrade his electric scooter. The old one he had purchased online reached only 16 mph and wasn’t cutting it anymore. He needed to go faster to keep up with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement cars he chases around Baltimore. So Grambo bought a Segway Max G3, which features a 2,000-watt motor and can get up to 28 mph.
    • “Currently, there is no approved construction plan for the location of this facility and no firm timeframe for intakes or length of operation at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst,” Noem wrote. “ICE is working with [the Department of Waah] to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy to support this site. Should a contract be awarded to build and operate a detention facility at this location, the contract will establish the detention standards by which the detention operator will be obligated to abide.”
