Living Overseas? Here’s How TRICARE Covers Telemedicine

FALLS CHURCH, Va.  –  Do you live overseas and need health care? Depending on the country you’re in, you may be able to get telemedicine care from the comfort of your home.
 
“Over the past few years, many countries have changed their laws to allow more telemedicine options,” said Michael Griffin, program analyst with the TRICARE Overseas Program Office at the Defense Health Agency. “As a result, the TRICARE Overseas contractor, International SOS, expanded telemedicine services in line with the new laws in these countries.”

      How sexual harassment and the shipyard crippled a Navy warship

      How can this happen on a Navy ship? By the time the junior officer emailed her peers in March 2022, reminding them to do their jobs and protect their sailors from each other, the men and women of the Navy destroyer Bulkeley had suffered through a rough couple of years. The warship had entered a maintenance and modernization stint in March 2019 that was expected to last 15 months. But Bulkeley didn’t leave the Virginia shipyard until June 2021, more than two years later.
