Here’s a list of some of the restaurants and other businesses across the country offering free eats or discounts to veterans and active-duty service members on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Double-check with your local outlets to make sure they are participating in the offer and what proof of service they require. Some offer discounts to veterans but not their family members. If your favorite place isn’t on the list, check with it anyway just to make sure it isn’t offering Veterans Day discounts or free food. Many do.
