    • Terriny Krepps, whose blood-alcohol content was twice the legal Florida limit, ran a red light June 29, 2024, while driving down Gulf Beach Highway, colliding with Navy veteran Kurt Kramer who was driving three Navy sailors back to NAS Pensacola.
    • Washington — As they juggle ongoing U.S. military operations against Iran and a host of other national security challenges, senior Pentagon officials have also been pressing ahead on a far different priority: tightening the grooming, fitness and appearance standards of the American service members.
    • Originally, the release of all results was set up so that TRIAD could congratulation their troops and pat them on the back. Then the public NAVADMIN would be release supposedly (and exactly) 24 hrs. later. It came to pass that after the TRIAD release, not all selectees, or those who made it, would get notified. Those on leave, those in another UIC, and a lot, and I mean a lot of Reservist were the biggest victims. That's why the public release became very important. I'll also add that in the Reserve, it's also a matter of the CO, XO or CMC simply not giving a damn. This is from my direct communication with some Reservist. You'd think that at this point it would be a "lessons learned" to get the public NAVADMIN out on time but I guess not. This is the third time I have seen this happen and all three are very recent. Shame on the Navy.
