Log Books

I am researching the evolution of logbooks from as early as the mid-1930s to present day.

Exciting, I know.

Please provide a photo of the entire front cover, the binding, and the book open, if possible. I am mainly interested in the cover and binding of the book, so if the rest is unmanageable or you are short on time, that is fine.

Please provide a date, as well, if one is not noted on the logbook itself. The origin of the book is welcome, if this information is available. Logbooks from other branches of the military are welcome, too, but please specify if true.

From my understanding, the current log book used can be found on Amazon and hasn't changed since I was honorably discharged in 2007, but I could be wrong; I attached an image for reference.

Thank you very much for your time and support!
