Also I've always felt that the actual exam score should play a role in selection. I know there are some good and bad test takers but a great score in conjuction with great evaluations should defnitely play a role.
This is from the precept
"Consider an eligible's demonstrated knowledge of rate and the extent to which that eligible used that knowledge to positively impact his/her command."
Can we get a copy of the precept, can't remember where it's located

Can someone with the knowledge help out a shipmate with a question? They are in Bagram with limited bandwidth.

Anyone who wishes to vote, there is a poll going on about the 'new' method of releasing the results. You can throw your vote in know or after the results... http://forum.navyadvancement.com/index.php/topic/733-new-method-of-releasing-advancement-board-results/

today's earlier maintenance was an unexpected wardrobe malfunction that I did not realize until I was alerted... sorry about that but everything is running ok.

You are correct with the pinning date of 16 SEP 14. For those in question please reference the CPO 365 Guidance for 2013-2014 page 4 paragraph 2 and you will find the date.

I am in similiar situation. I went to Mast in April 2010 for Adultery/Wrongful Cohabitation. I was reduced in rank to e5 and kept all pay. I appealed the decision and was sent TAD for 2 months pending appeal. After submitting my appeal the OPS DH told me I would be reduced in rank to e4 and processed out in a few weeks. I won my appeal and put e6 back in july 2010. I was even still board eligible for Chief. The CO gave me a 2.71 P transfer eval. The CMC was relieved of duty after an IG inspection for my case and an E-7's female that was similiar. I have been trying to get rid of the transfer eval but got a final letter from BCR 2 weeks ago that says it will stay. Bupers even marked the report invalid due to dates and PRM remarks. I have sent in a statement 3 times to bupers detailing the performance marks and that statement is still not in my ompf. This year is the first time since 2010 that I made board due to that eval. I got to my next command in August 2010. Once there I got a P eval, then another P due to being on watch rotation at a NCTS. Once I became a day worker I was able to break out in 2012. I was Dapa (got 5.0 in leadership on evals), CFS, CACO, IDW SME, WCS, EKMS Primary Custodian. I am hoping the board can see through the eval but I think I am DWI at this point in my career.
Thank you for sharing...

Bummer.
I appreciate all the hard work you do to run this site.
Thanks much for that.
If there is anyone else wondering, just join back up, everyone has to create a new account...

Thanks Tony for setting up my account.
Seems like every year I have to redo this. Not your fault I'm sure, I don't stay very active throughout the year. Only during the actual time when the selection season gets interesting.
You're welcome, thanks for joining back up.After January everyone including myself had to recreate an account - the forum got hacked.I posted that info in the forum news

If you all get the opportunity, please throw your vote and opinion in the poll in the "Chief Selection Board" forum. Interesting vote so far.

I think Big Navy will get this process worked out though
and I'm sure the right people read these threads...

-
I think we need to give this time though before we get the angry mob of potential selectees pushing back at Big Navy
well, I have my pitchfork ready just in case, just pm me...

I think another big factor is the location of the triad when results are released. I know when the E-4/5/6 results were coming, our CO was off the ship and we they were held until he came back onboard so he could announce the results. All while other boats across the pier from us already had notification.
Really, it should have fallen on the XO to announce it. That's what the chain of command is for...

-
so yes it should be updated but does not mean they can do it at that exact time...
-
Now I'm more confused. Shouldn't my BOL have a N? Or is the list out before BOL was updated...
past experience is that it takes awhile to update BOL. So even thought they said 24 hrs, they still may be doing the database behind the scene thingy - it takes awhile. But the public version can reach the streets easier.

oh...nm. Thanks Tony.

Yeah, it's supposed to be 0900. stiiiillll waiting.

well after all of this, I really hope you get it.
-
When is this list supposed to drop anyway? We all knew exactly when Triads would have info, the list- not so much...

I beleive the message said 9 ESD

I see another situation where the person is at a joint command and no one is authorized BOL login at that command! Are there other situations that have put a negative kink in this new method?
