Latest Updates from NPC All CO/XO/CMCs will be receiving advance notification (24 hours) for advancement and selection board results via BOL. Recommend CO/XO/CMCs verify their UIC "command view" access on BOL. At 0800 Central, 02JUN14 a list of all CO/XO/CMC personnel with corresponding UICs will be posted under the "CO/XO/CMC Advancement/Selection Board Verification" tab on BOL. To verify "command view" access, CO/XO/CMCs should log onto BOL, click the "CO/XO/CMC Advancement/Selection Board Verification" tab, and review their information on CO/XO/CMC list. If you do not have access to this list or your name is associated with the wrong UIC(s), contact Pers-54 helpdesk at (901)874-4717 ornpc_it_service_desk@navy.mil to initiate corrective action.

yes that is what it is saying which gives the admin types a friendly reminder (hint) to have their co/xo/cmc validate their credentials so that they can fix any loggin problems before and not after the results are released.

Overall opportunity for active duty Sailors decreased by 4.3 percent, from 27.71 percent to 23.41 percent as numbers continue to move closer to the ten-year average, following a spike in 2012. "We continue to see excellent enlisted retention, resulting in a slight decrease in this cycle's advancement numbers," said Vice Adm. Bill Moran, Chief of Naval Personnel. "Our goal is to man the Fleet with Sailors who have the right skills and experience-strong retention means we are holding on to highly-qualified and experienced Sailors." Enlisted advancements are based on vacancies in the fleet and correlate with efforts to balance the force. Active Duty -E4 active advancement opportunity decrease from 40.23 percent to 35.54 percent (-4.69 percentage points). -E5 active advancement opportunity decreased from 25.06 percent to 19.89 percent (-5.17 percentage points). -E6 active advancement opportunity decreased from 19.20 percent to 15.83 percent (-3.37 percentage points).
