    • In the minutes after U.S. forces attacked a suspected drug smuggling boat near Trinidad, Adm. Frank M. Bradley, the commander overseeing the operation, faced a choice. A laser-guided bomb had killed nine of the 11 people on board, sunk the boat’s motor and capsized the vessel’s front end, according to people who have viewed or been briefed on a classified video of the operation. As smoke from the blast cleared, a live surveillance feed provided by a U.S. aircraft high overhead showed two men had survived and were attempting to flip the wreckage.
    • Okay folks, please take this seriously...  A state epidemiologist said the spike in cases came in the wake of Thanksgiving travel and a lack of vaccinations. At least 16 cases were traced to a church.
    • The United States has seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela amid a monthslong buildup of military forces surrounding the country, President Trump confirmed on Dec. 10. "As you probably know, we've just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela," Trump said at a meeting at the White House.
    • The U.S. Navy recovered the aircraft in the sea before Beijing could access their sensitive technology. The South China Sea remains a hotspot as U.S. and allied forces conduct exercises near the contested Spratly Islands, while Chinese warships maintain a close presence, occasionally prompting tense encounters.
    • CFL/ACFLs, CY25 PFA Cycle has Officially Ended! As prescribed in Guide-7, CFL/ACFLs are reminded you have 30 days following the completion of the Navy’s PFA Cycle to enter PFA data.  All CY25 PFA data must be entered in PRIMS before 31 December 2025.  Updated PRP FAQ (DEC 2025.)
