    • CFL/ACFLs, As a reminder, the PRP Office no longer assists with placing Sailors in transfer status in PRIMS, except in a few case-by-case circumstances.  Per PRP Guide-7, CFLs and ACFLs are responsible for ensuring members are placed in transfer status before they detach from their current command. If a Sailor arrives at a new command without being placed in transfer status, CFLs and ACFLs must make every effort to contact the previous command’s CFL, ACFL, CO, XO, or CMC for assistance. If contact attempts are unsuccessful, please provide documentation of these efforts along with your transfer assistance request to askmncc.fct@navy.mil. Please note that this responsibility lies with the CFL/ACFL, not the member. Additionally, CFLs, please ensure that your command’s contact information—including an updated email and phone number—is current and accessible for other CFLs and ACFLs seeking assistance.
    • The death of a SEAL candidate during Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training in 2022 prompted investigations and policy changes, including the implementation of random urinalysis testing for unauthorized PEDs across NSW. This testing is designed to improve warfighting readiness by reducing the risks associated with PED misuse while ensuring legitimate medical conditions are addressed by qualified NSW medical staff.
    • The charges—brought as a result of a coordinated investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Maryland Office of the Attorney General Organized Crime Unit, NCIS, and approximately 16 additional federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies—include participation in a criminal gang, attempted murder, armed carjacking, armed robbery, assault, and firearms violations.
    • WASHINGTON — The Indo-Pacific Command’s top sailor and a SEAL was tapped to serve as the armed forces’ most senior enlisted service member, the Pentagon announced Tuesday. • 😮 This is absolutely crazy what is happening to our chain-of-command. The White House has lost confidence in a Pentagon leak investigation that Pete Hegseth used to justify firing three top aides last month, after advisers were told that the aides had supposedly been outed by an illegal warrantless National Security Agency (NSA) wiretap.
