had a funny conversation with my YN1 this am. He eavesdropped on the Chiefs meeting Wednesday. Apparently if I make it they aren't sure how to pt me as I am the CFL and do long distance running for fun! HAHAAHAHA.

Come on everybody get happy. We are in the home stretch. Regardless of what happens the sun will rise in the am!

I was told the same thing. Hopefully it'll make the season easier for us! But, more likely than not, they'll find a way to get creative.

that's what I am afraid of. They get a side by side or golf cart and switch off. hahahaha

lmao people screaming at you while you run like Rocky Balboa. Sounds like that would actually motivate me more! But only if eye of the tiger was blaring from the golf cart!

Im on the same boat, I have been a CFL for ever maximum on the last 5 years on all PRTs. But I was told by my Senior Chief that the lack of sleep and the over tasking is what gets to the selected.

I am in a different boat. Can't run due to damaged knee. But I can bike like no tomorrow, and have been at the CPO 365 PT sessions. I have saddle bags and help out the runners by being a pack mule carrying personal items and water. I'm  constantly biking between the front and back of the group so I still pay my fair share. Still, every time we do a PT session in my mind I hear "They see me rollin', they hatin'..." It makes me smile a little.

I may or may not have been an old buzzard before they disestablished! May or may not have brac'd from Brunswick to Jville!

To be average is expected. To perform well is commendable. But, to excel is to be an Old Buzzard

Reliable source said results will be out before the end of next week. A ships captain, that has a CMC with mad connections, made an announcement that they would know next week.  Just thought I would pass that on.. I don't pass info unless its 99% reliable.. promise. :) (nothing is EVER 100% in the military as you all know-lol)

Good luck to all.. I know we have a TON banking on this one... 18 months unaccompanied order is what my husband is facing unless he makes chief-then he can extend his orders and we can go with him.  If the 'S' doesn't happen we move in 4 weeks. :(

Pinning should be the 15th back it up 6 weeks to the 4th of August.  I doubt they'd start it a week early or tell us and then give us some days off before starting.  Good luck all, and get to memorizing those cadences.  The short rows are coming up.

I was just looking through my evals for one last time and realized my frocked E-6 eval was terrible. I was like 3.4 trait avg but the CO summary was 3.83 I hope that does not kill my hopes and dreams.

It won't. Close outs exist to serve a continuity function. Don't worry bout it!

Here in Tampa, we are holding the pinning ceremony on Wednesday, Sept 16th.

as positive as i try to be this wait time kills me! I am usually a patient person, but waiting makes you go back look 40 times at your record, hit refresh on the forum, your ears fully open around chiefs, and it is hard to concentrate on your job.
