As we get closer to results I was thinking about a conversation I had with a fellow first a few months ago.  He said that Phase I and II are optional, but I could've sworn that I remember reading that it was mandatory.  Has this changed, or is it basically more up to commands to decide if they want to follow the MCPON's requirement?  When I try to google it I get conflicting info, and as I've also been asked by junior sailors when they ask me what CPO 365 is I'd like to have the correct info so I'm not spreading misinformation.

This year's Reserve Chief results came out at 1100 vice 0800.  There was the conflicting time and it ultimately came out 1100

Just got some interesting Intel, my wife called and said her friend who was a recorder told her the results should be released to the triad on Thursday @ 1100 and Navadmin on Friday

Current Proccess

 

- Announcement comes out stating time and date that Triad can view the results (they can then log into Bol at that designated time)

- Triad (CO,XO,CMC) are given 24hrs to congratulation or disiminate the info however the command wishes (Commands set their own policy)

- Classified Navadmin released (copy with SSN) (not sure when released)

- Exactly 24hrs later the public version can be viewed. Participants log into Bol and view their status. 

- Public version (no SSN) of Navadmin released (not sure when it is released but I think same time as Bol access.)

It's all a guessing game a this point, I would say the 23 is too early but who knows, even though no SBE list came out this year, the time frame where a lot of guesses were being tossed around was later than the actual notification.  Maybe they're taking into consideration last year's release date but then again maybe it's all speculation.  You have to really take interest in this time of year

It's fun speculation for sure.  I'm still going with 5 Aug...the earliest 30 Jul

I said the same thing and the Chiefs at my command said that the 6 week thing is not in writing.  They said they can get released at any time.....I think they are just keeping everyone antsy.
