Just got some interesting Intel, my wife called and said her friend who was a recorder told her the results should be released to the triad on Thursday @ 1100 and Navadmin on Friday

If your talking about this thursday I'd say it's early....wouldn't mind it being early, but I don't think it's going to be this week.  I'm still saying the 30th for Triad release.

I remember being on here last year and everyone was convinced the results were going to come out on the 31st of July. A lot of intel, a lot of insiders and what have you. Then the 31st came and went with no results. They ended up coming out the following week.  I wonder if the same thing will happen this year

The precept states that PPME, JPME, and advanced education are to be looked on favorably. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not completing them. I did them as well. Hopefully, along with SSP it's enough to get us the S. Best of luck to you shipmate!

Wonder if there are max points?

I have: BPME, PPME, SEJPME, AA, BS, and 15 hours towards my Masters.

if you are SOQ I would think it would help quite a bit (depending on size of command). I would think if you were SOQ for lets say Q3 that you would rank somewhere in the Top 5 come eval time unless you jack something up! #1 EP SOY, #2 EP runner up., and so on! but that is just my thinking.

A good friend told me today that was on the Board that the results should be out this Friday.  I don't know how true it is but it sounds like more scuttlebutt to me.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL PCPO's ( Prospective Chief Petty Officer's).

Onboard USS Last Ship we made shirts up that had "FCPO- Future Chief Petty Officer"

Im still leaning towards next week for a release though, moreso due to a desire to have the results sooner rather than later.

So after 2 years of lurking on this forum I decided to finally register.  I have learned a lot from the info that has been put out on here, and had multiple laughs as well.  This is my 4th year being board eligible so hopefully this will be the year that I get that "S".  I'm not going to speculate when the results will be released, but I do know that around my command there is quite a lot of buzzing around by the CPO's.  I can say this, they get just as excited this time of year as the board eligibles!!  I wish everyone luck and for the board eligibles around Lemoore this year, I hope to see you around the base during Phase II!!!  Good luck everyone!!

The board scores off the precepts.. in which I interpret as having sections ...in other words quite similar to the SOQ/SOY grading sheet... there is max points from what I been led to believe.

Any ITs on here? Just curious as to what my fellow communicators got going on their packages...

- BPME/PPME/Officer PME

- SEJPME

- Masters degree ( 1 course away sent in a letter stating my expected graduate date which is next month)

- MTS

- ATS

- ATTWO Des letter

- MOVSM

- USMC Staff NCO Academy diploma

- USMAP Cert

1st time up...

I've said it before folks, now is the time for prepping! Not the crazy "The world is ending!" prepping, but getting ready for Phase II. There is a lot you can be doing now, today, like getting your personal affairs in order that will pay huge dividends in the long run. Things as mundane as making sure the bills will be paid for the next few weeks, the lawn mowed, kids good to go for school, car maintenance, etc. can have a huge impact. No one wants to be the person who is dealing with Phase II at the same time as a self-inflicted crisis back home that could have been prevented with just a little forethought and initiative before the season begins. Having watched others go through this the ones who are dealing with a lot of personal stress on top of everything else have a much rougher time of it. Do yourselves a favor and use this time to get your personal lives squared away before the results hit, because if you get the magic "S", you will find time to be a very valuable commodity.

Good advice, thanks.

sent it in.. reason being, a few of these were not on my last Eval (NOB) and certain items like ATS and MTS aren't uploaded to your OMPF.

Speaking about NOB evals....... I received an NOB eval in November because I just reported to this command November 13th. I was on the fence on doing a special eval for the board but some Chiefs were telling me it was not necessary. Any one have thoughts on that?

I feel the NOB was the correct thing to do as you would've had a Xfer eval earlier that would've encompassed what the Nov 15th would have. Only difference is this will have TEMDU/LV added and Report submitted for continuity purposes due to member onboard for less than 90 days. Just hope your continuity is all aligned.

Does the board look for things like "#3 EP out of xx number of First Classes"?

Yes as it shows break out amongst peers.

For the guys comparing records. What does your record say you've done for your sailors? As a leader? A mentor?

My eval covers all of those topics. I am a department LPO, of a department of 40 plus personnel. My record touches on mentorship, leadership and devotion to my peers and subordinates alike. I am hoping paired up with SOQ, conducting CACO duties, and coordinating funerals for my command will help give me the edge. Fingers crossed. This wait is killing me.

Just heard today that my local CPO mess has "events" planned beginning on August 1st because they expect a 31 July release.

I still honestly believe that the results will be released the week of August 3rd even though there is a lot of chatter eluding to next Thursday. ;)

I want them now!
