HONOLULU — A U.S. Navy officer stationed in Hawaii said in a lawsuit that he can’t get a gun permit because he sought counseling for feeling depressed and homesick.

Michael Santucci’s lawsuit is the latest challenge to Hawaii’s gun ownership restrictions. His lawsuit focuses on a state law that allows access to an applicant’s medical records in determining whether someone should be allowed to own a gun, which his lawyers say is unique to Hawaii.

      How do You Classify Classified Information in the Trump Administration?

      And How do you Define Foreign Relations in the Trump Administration? Well this is funny... On Monday Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem included in their filings to the court that "disclosing the information sought by (Judge) Boasberg would harm US national security or foreign relations." This is in regard to the Trump administration defying a court order to turn two airplanes around that where heading to a prison in El Salvador. On a sidebar, some families are coming out saying that their sons are not gang members and that they don't have criminal records in the US. In addition, several news outlets claim many of the people deported aren’t part of the Treb de Aragua gang. This whole situation has not been transparent at all. But the funny part is what Rubio & company stated in their filings to the court: "disclosing the information sought by (Judge) Boasberg would harm US national security or foreign relations." If this is going to harm national security, what damage was caused by the recent release of classified information in a chat group that discussed the particulars of the raid on Yemen that inadvertently included a reporter from The Atlantic in the chat group? But that isn't all... Again: "disclosing the information sought by (Judge) Boasberg would harm US national security or foreign relations." How would that do anymore damage to our foreign relations than what Trump has done with our relations to Canada, Europe, Greenland, Denmark, Panama, Mexico, and other countries that have no choice but to change course in their diplomatic relations to the United States?
