RMKS/1.  Reference (a) announced the creation of the Aerial Vehicle 
Operator Warrant Officer (737X) community.  This NAVADMIN announces 
the first selection board for the community, as well as instructions 
and deadlines for applications.  The first selection board will be 
held on 2 August 2021 at Commander, Navy Recruiting Command 
Headquarters (NRC). 
 
2.  NRC is accepting applications from both civilians and enlisted 
personnel for the 737X warrant officer community who will operate 
the MQ-25 platform.  To allow sufficient processing time to support 
the first selection board in August 2021, applications for the 
program are due by 26 July 2021. 
 
3.  For civilian applicants, reference (b) has been promulgated to 
NRC to begin accessing highly qualified personnel.  Fleet applicants 
(both Active Duty and Reserve enlisted) should contact their command 
career counselor and follow the instruction of reference (c) when 
creating their application packages.  If a waiver is required, the 
request for a waiver shall be submitted in advance with sufficient 
time to be completed by the application due date.  See reference (b) 
for program requirements and to determine if a waiver will be 
required. 
 
4.  Selected candidates will attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) 
in Newport, Rhode Island.  Upon completion of OCS, candidates will 
commission as a warrant officer one (WO1) and complete initial 
flight training with follow-on specialized training on the MQ-25 
platform. 
 
5.  Subsequent selection boards will not be announced by naval 
message.  Following the first selection board, future boards will be 
communicated via the NRC officer programs board schedule located on 
MyNavy HR at https://www.mynavyhr.navy.mil/Career-Management/Career-
Counseling/Commissioning-Programs/
