Getting divorce while spouse deployed

My spouse is in Okinawa while I am in DC. He just asked for divorce. Has anyone gone through a similar situation? How long did it take you to get all finalized? Was it complicated?

It depends, if he sends you the divorce papers and you sign it everything from there is a quick process if you don’t want to sign them and have things divide such as a house payments and such it will take longer
