Will the year and half spent as a BM2 reset when I convert to EOD2? In other words, once I convert to EOD2 will I have to wait a minimum of 3 years to test for EOD1?

I found the answer in BUPERSINST 1430.16G.

214d(3) TIR Date for an Authorized Lateral Conversion. Members with authorized lateral conversion will retain the TIR date assigned on advancement to current paygrade in the original rating.
