      CFL/ACFLs, FAQ sheet has been updated. Please review and use it as a reference when you have any questions/issues. PRIMS-2 UPDATES: PRIMS-2 is experiencing a random system issue where the “Gaining” tile is not showing up after a member is transferred out of a command. We are aware of this issue and are working with the Development team and Salesforce Helpdesk to resolve this issue. We will keep you informed of a resolution once it has been addressed.

      Months After Biden’s Promise to Pardon Thousands of LGBTQ Veterans, Only 8 Have Applied

      The White House claimed that “thousands” of veterans could benefit when President Biden announced this summer he was issuing pardons to gay veterans who were forced out of the military because of their sexual orientation “and have carried the burden of this great injustice for decades.” But three months later, only eight veterans have applied for pardons—six from the Air Force, two from the Army, and none from the Coast Guard, Navy, or Marines.

      VA proposes new legal services grant program to help Veterans upgrade their military discharge status and increase access to earned benefits

      WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs proposed establishing a first-of-its-kind grant program aimed at increasing access to VA programs and benefits. The proposed program would fund entities that provide legal support to help Veterans and former service members access VA programs, improve their military discharge status or characterization of service, and seek a review of a military record before a board of correction for military or naval records. The aim of this new program would be to increase access to VA programs and benefits — including compensation and pension, education, health care, loans, national cemetery matters, and VA character of discharge determinations.
