First Class Petty Officers eligible for advancement to Chief Petty Officer (CPO) must successfully pass the Professional Military Knowledge Eligiblity Exam (PMK-EE) before January 1, 2020. Sailors who complete PMK-EE after Enlisted Advancement Worksheets (EAW) are created for Cycle 246 will have to work with their ESO to upload the certificate and change the eligibility status in EAW.

The PMK-EE data point in EAW will show "Yes" and no action will be needed if PMK-EE is completed before worksheets are created in NSIPS. CPO candidates can download the PMK-EE mobile application and complete the exam, or take the exam through Submarine OnBoard Training or Navy eLearning. Refer to NAVDMIN 313/18 for more information.
