E4/E5 Final Multiple Score

Recommended Posts

Advancements to Petty Officer Third Class and Petty Officer Second Class are based on the Final Multiple Score (FMS) rank order and vacancies (quotas). The FMS element with the most weighting is the exam standard score, which is a measurement of rating knowledge compared to peers.

Performance is also a heavily weighted FMS factor. The other factors are awards, Pass Not Advance (PNA) points, education and Service in Pay Grade (SIPG).

The Navy Advancement Center will send advancement notifications to command triads the week prior to Memorial Day.
